Do you pay TAXES or not ?
In theory in most of the countries every single online activity that generates income it is taxable and you should have a registered firm or be an authorized individual or just declare your revenue (depending on the country)

Now I am asking this because I recently relocated into a new country due to some family related issues. I barely speak the language fluidly and it is gonna be a pain in the ass to resolve the required documents to register as a individual that has an online activity + the costs are around 700$-1.000$ to set everything up and I just feel it is not worth it.

Currently I have no monetized activity but I am planning a long term project and realistically speaking Its not gonna be worth paying the 1k $ at least in the first year ) . I intend to sell the website after growing it and making some money from it.

So how do you guys handle the legal aspect of your online business ? Whatever it is CPA , SMM Panel, SEO Services etc How do you get paid ? And how do you not get in trouble ?

Yes, unless you want to end up in jail, I suggest you do so. I know many people talking about how you can just use crypto and not pay taxes, but that will not end up well for you.

P.S I worked with a guy[2017, his old federal job was looking for people that didn't pay taxes, so trust me, they know what's going on here.] Lastly, even celebrities can get jail time for it, as you can see from this site https://www.ksat.com/money/2021/03/05/10-celebrities-busted-for-tax-issues/. Jokes aside I co-own a legit store too and because of my age (not saying publicly) no issues yet as I'm not making big purchases, I would recommend asking an accountant though.

Edit: I do pay my taxes for the legit store obviously, I currently haven't spent any of my online income (I keep it all in crypto) but I will have to pay taxes on it once I sell ofc, just realized I worded my post in a way that would suggest you to do it lol.

at least in america, you can't buy a house or stocks or a nice car if your tax return doesn't show an appropriate amount of income to afford these things.

what's the point of $$ that you can't spend or invest?

and if you're making livable $$ online, why would you want to risk a lifestyle that is essentially better than 99% of people on the planet, by engaging in illegal activities?

So yes. I pay all of my taxes.

If you want to be able to get capital for investments you will probably have to show earnings. So unless you want to plod along at a snails pace then yes you should pay your taxes.

Want to buy a car or a house then you need to show you can afford it.

The problem about not paying taxes (if its not a shithole) is that they will catch you sooner or later

Taxes were created so that people would not cheat the state. If you're against paying taxes, you'll soon be wearing a striped shirt for the next few years in prison.

I wouldn't recommend taking that risk because it could have serious consequences. I don't see the point of not paying taxes because I know it's necessary for the place I live in (or I'm made to think so lol)
