Hi. This is my time to give back to this great community.
I am going to answer any Adwords related questions.

I am not doing that to gain anything. Just to help the guys (and girls) here.
(I don't have customers, so that's not the reason I am doing that)

My knowledge is from the last 10 years. I am an affiliate marketer that do that for a living. I have no customers (depends how you look at it).
I am my own boss and I promote my own affiliate websites.
My monthly budget is $300K (not only Adwords but mainly)

So - if you have Adwords related questions, no matter how complicated or simple they are - just let me know :)

Hey Andrew! Thank you so much for giving back to the community.

I have quite the predicament. My adwords account has been in account review for 10 business days, since July 30th. All of my approved ads are saying "We currently can't determine why your ad isn't showing"
My account has been in review before, but it usually gets out in a few days. This time it is taking forever, I am afraid that they will suspend my account for direct linking to affiliate offers. I called Adwords support 5 days ago and they said my account is in review and it would take 3-4 days max.

So, the question is...should I deactivate the adwords account, and delete the google account while in review? Then start a fresh account and start over? My hope with this is that by deactivating the account that it would get pulled out of review before it got suspended. I've never had an account suspended before, so my hopes is that the new account would be okay.

Or, should I just wait it out then figure out a solution if I am suspended?

What tools do you use to find the long tail keywords that has volume without huge cpc

In shopping Ads should I keep 100 products in one campaign or divided it into 10 to 15 individual campaign? What is the benefit of having single campaign and multiple campaign?

What are the things to do to avoid account getting disabled?

How to optimize advertising costs for UAC campaigns
I do not want to depend on google and wait for them to optimize and distribute.
Any hints to do it better
Thank you!

Basically, it really depends on what you promoted.
Was it legit?
If it was legit, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't just call them again. It happened to me too but if the niche and landing page was legit, it always got activated again. Sometimes it just takes more time.
I do know that lately a lot of people got ads suspended due to "malware" and it was a new algorithm the run on all the accounts and it's not perfect. a lot of false positives - maybe that's what you experience?

anyway, if you are going to open a new account - make sure you do it with a new credit card, open the account from a different computer, with different name etc and then manage it with MCC. They are smart these googlers :)

I am using SEMrush. It's probably the best tool for keyword research.
Lately, Google changed the regular keyword tool. it's not giving you all the data as it used to do. You have to use other tools.
Neil Patel also have this tool on his site, which is pretty good and it's Free :)
https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/

so I am also using that.

What are the things to do to avoid account getting disabled?
Don't try to trick Google. Follow their guidelines.
I am not doing anything that breaks their TOS. I am here for the long run. I used to do BH stuff, but it just makes me frustrated. every time you have to start from scratch. Instead, I am building legit websites that will run for years.
Trust me, if you want a stable business, choose a legit path. there is a lot of money that you can make from legit niches and product.

Thanks for your answers and time. Some questions:

1. What do you think about skag strategy?
2. Do you use a smart bidding strategy in your SN or GDN campaigns?
3. What do you think about "Search Network with Display Extension" campaign type?
4. Do you have satisfied with any bidding script? If yes, what type of bidding you use: bids for position, or for impression share?
5. Any recommendations about white-head-affiliate campaign? Final url, dynamic search campaign maybe, or something else?

Thanks a lot! And sorry for my non-native English.

Hi.
1. Just in order to make sure that everyone understands my answer. SKAG is a single keyword ad group.
Which mean an ad group that targets variations of a single keyword rather than having 10-20 keywords in your ad group.
I think that this method is great. it will get you Improved Quality Scores, better positions, lower CPC, better impression share, lower CPA, better control level.

HOWEVER

It will take more time and effort to create and manage the account. Your data is more "thin", and it will take more time to test things.
Also, I am almost always using some of the automatic bidding strategies like target CPA. In order to make these strategies work better than manual bidding, Google needs data. More specifically, conversions data.
It might not be possible / take a lot of time if you are using Skag. So if you like these auto strategies, do it only if you have a lot of conversions.
a lot of times, I ended up creating new Skag ad groups only to the keywords that worth the effort and time and have the conversion data needed. Sticking to the 80/20 rule.

2. Yes. I do that. Google automatic bidding strategies got improved in the last year. Think about the data Google have, that you will never have about the users (Device, Physical location, Location intent, Weekday & time of day, Interface language, Browser, Operating system, Demographics, Web placement etc) If they decided to target someone - they know a lot more than I'll ever know about that individual. So lately yes, and I see huge improvement since.

3. Never use it! It's just 2 different things that should be never combined.

4. I built my own script for that, that calculate everything on a spreadsheet and then change the bids accordingly. However, since Google improved their automated bidding strategies, I don't use it. They just know better :)
I did use to bid for positions when I wanted to improve my quality score and to build some brand awareness to some of my products.

5. Please clarify that question :)

BTW, I am interested to know what your thoughts about SKAG campaigns.

3. Never use it! It's just 2 different things that should be never combined.
Sure, GDN-only campaign should be run separately. But I noticed that SNDE is also useful to find the good quality placements. And placements list will differ compared with GDN-only campaign (I run SNDE without any display ads).

So if you like these auto strategies, do it only if you have a lot of conversions.
...
So lately yes, and I see huge improvement since.
Yes, I see these improvements too. Furthermore, Google says (see /google-ads/answer/9056142 in support) that we don't need a lot of data anymore. Now I'm checking this out.

About SKAGs..

It's must-have in most niches for my opinion, I like KlientBoost' method. However, Google's AI surprises me now, I think that soon everything will change.

About 5th question - I just want to ask you for any tips/tricks which you use in the context of affiliate marketing: how to past an affiliate link in the ad for example. I work in-house with Google Ads for 3 years but I'm full newbie in the affiliate.

Really appreciate you for doing this.
1. What are the reasons for being suspended by circumventing system polices?
2. Can share you any tips to avoid it?
3. What should be the landing page structure for CPA?

Hey, Thanks so much for doing this Adwords AMA. I really appreciate it.

I have a video ad setup in adwords, and no matter what budget I set the ad never runs.

Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

@hellodar
It could be a lot of things. Could be the settings, the targeting, the bidding. It's hard to know without seeing it myself.

Hey, I really appreciate you doing this.
I'm a rookie at this.
Have you ever used coupons?
can i use coupons without spending first?
can vcc be used as a payment method?

thank you.

Hi

I am a newbie to IM but have interest in Adwords & FB , reading lot as this is not my full time job . Already run AdWords campaign couple of times . I have fair idea about Adwords & FB . Now I am planning to start AM specifically with any good product though the content is my weakness.
Can you please advice how to start as I find you are one of this legit person in this forum. I am planning to start with clickbank,

Hi Andrew, thank you for your time!!

I am working on building some sites with content and CPA offers....

And i am interested id this is the best way , or is it better to promote the CPA offer with their own landing page?

Is there any benefit in building your own landing page and than drive traffic from adwords , or to use the CPA's ready made ones?

Thanks :)
