I do and have since about 1986/1987.

I don't share it with anyone; it's not something that would benefit anyone but me, but I write almost daily.

I started it because the company I worked for was buying other companies and folding them into the one I was running. I needed to keep up and would write in a notebook every day as to what I needed to do and why I needed to do it.

I loved the job, loved those that I worked for, and I had to in order to keep up. It was always uphill for me then,

The notebooks, which I still have, and look at now and then, show I was part of creating something pretty cool.

I still do it now, but on my laptop as opposed to a spiral notebook, and the majority of what I write is personal stuff. I do write business stuff in there but I have a different place where I write that to try to do my best for my job here. I no longer market on the internet so that no longer is in play. I keep up with what is going on because it is interesting to me, but it's not about the money... it's about the knowledge.

It's cartagic in general, and my wife only learned about it this weekend as we discussed something she wants to do and the discussion came up about what I do when she asked me what I did because I stay up late at night,

Putting your thoughts down today, and reviewing them years from now, will help your personal growth, and it's free to do.

If you don't, I'd encourage you to do so. 200 words, 2,000 words, whatever works but 3 years from the time you start, you'll be glad you did.

I tried many times, but consistency is the key here. Registered the domain, made it private, and started journaling, but it lasted only 4 months. When I found my old pages, it really gave me a special kind of happiness and made me feel so good, where I started and where I stand now. Thanks to GOD and wrap them again.

Well said. Writing things down brings clarity and perspective, and looking back later really shows how far you’ve come. Simple habit, big long-term value. :)

Well I am writing Dairy.. Daily work and thoughts about me aur anyone.. From 1998 till 2011 i wrote after that i stop writing but that diary is with me.. when i get time i read it myself and get little happiness.

Yes, a personal journal helps you stay organized, think clearly, and make better decisions

Journalling is super important to me. I choose to record myself talking when I go out for a walk. Amazing to listen and hear yourself talk years in the past. I'd advise anyone to keep some sort of record of their life

This really resonates. Writing without the pressure to publish or monetize is underrated, and it sounds like it’s been a powerful tool for clarity and growth for you over the years.

I like the idea of treating writing as a personal archive, not content. Looking back years later and seeing how your thinking evolved is something most people never give themselves. Appreciate you sharing this perspective — it’s a good reminder that not everything valuable has to be public or profit-driven.

After your last post about journal, I started writing mine on my own personal app that I made. Will see at the end of the year but I have good hopes!

Peek a boo, I see you lol

I don't, but sometimes I wish I had. But I have done some anonymous but personal blogging in semi-distant past and I sometimes go back to reread. It's still online, but nobody knows it was actually me.

Dont have a personal Journal, But Not kidding I have a personal Google Sheet, Just to have My Future Goals, How much I made, My finances and All the things on one sheet.

I know its a bit unusual to have a Google sheet, to recode things but not kidding it helps me alot i can Add anything anytime.

Unfortunately, nope. But I really wish I had. I rely on the emotional memory (Stanislavski tech, with some personal touches), but sometimes I find I missed essential nuances, and that's too late already. Anyway, keeping a phisiqual (and safe) journal is a very good thing. I hope I will. in the future.

I used to keep a dream journal.

Because I was mega Into lucid dreaming back in 2015.

I used to, but then I realized I'm only noting negative thoughts, so I burned them and never did it again. I only maintain a finance one now, income, investments and expenses.
