you can use google keyword planner...at the end of the day it does a good job and is free....commercial tools like semrush and ahrefs have more keywords and other functionalities that are useful for seo and marketing, but they cost a lot of money

the big problem is that the keyword game isn't static...people come up every day with new phrases to search for things ( according to some statistics, each year a +15% is added to the keyword bucket, meaning that people create this 15% of new keywords from nothing )

of course Google is in a great place ( through Chrome and other assets ) to discover those new keywords as soon as they appear...but as always they just show what they want through keyword planner

in this sense large language models are becoming more and more useful, because they are capable of creatively output new keywords, especially long tails...at this point it becomes a number game...you ask the LLM to outputs 50-100 keywords and then build pages based on those keywords...some of them will get lost in the void, but others will start driving traffic

I have used SEMRush For several years, keep KD and Volumn in a ceratin number, depends on website page weight.

You can try:
Google keyword planner,
Search Console keyword data
Google search suggestions
Uber suggest(gives some data free)

You would get better result with paid tools like semrush or ahref,

With free tools you would just get an estimate, for better accurate results you should try some paid tools.

There are many tools to find a best keyword on your websites like Uber Suggest , Google keyword planner , Semrush , KW finder and also paid tool name called Ahrefs is i think best tool. you can use it.

it really depends what you are trying to achieve. SEO is also about understanding what people search when they search for a specific item or service.

The best way is to ask AI "what would people type in google if they are searching for a plumber in Miami".

Maybe you are ranking ur targeted keywords but get no results because u re targeting the wrong ones.

There are many such tutorials already shared on BHW. You can use search function on this forum to find these.
