I feel exactly like OP after perusing through WF threads.
SEO is full of "mocking birds". Someone says something that sounds good, then all of a sudden tons of people regurgitate it and now it becomes "truth".
To make it in this game you gotta find your own truth through your own experiences.
It's all good man, more money for us.

Yeah there is an element of survival of the fittest for sure... but to be honest even if you put the best info out there... most people won't use it.
