I don't know about you but I'm seeing this word more and more in BSTs and WSOs and I just can't stand it, It just irritates the crapola out of me. I don't want to be seen as the grammar police but I think they should make a new law and ban everyone on this forum that uses this word. Plural noun: "Contents" for those of you that don't know is defined as "the things that are held or included in something" not the content of a website.

i.e; the contents of a website would in fact be => content.

and this should be punishable by death => "High Quality Spun Contents"

WTF? how can spun gibberish be high quality and the contents of what? OH you mean content. When I see a thread and someone posting this type of content I automatically think "slap & dash".

PLEASE: Stop using this word you're driving me nuts...

Well as you started a thread about things that annoy you, here are a couple of things that annoy me:

1. People whose first post is pointless, negative or a complaint.

2. People who don't practise what they preach.

Your long, rambling post about grammar is littered with spelling, punctuation and capitalization errors.

Well it could be worse. I've seen much worse grammar and spelling. Plus not everyone's first language is English.

Maybe you don't, but here are a few of the basic errors you made whilst complaining about a single error:

You don't capitalize after a comma - basic punctuation

and I just can't stand it, It just irritates

The phrase is 'slapdash'. Unless you are using each word separately? In which case you should have punctuated each word separately - I automatically think "slap" & "dash"

So I make a few errors, I know I should start a sentence with the word and or
but it makes perfect sense at least.

Personally, I don't mind the word at all. The meaning actually makes things easier,
especially in some e-books, you can just take a look & see what it is about.
