Do you guys give yourselves days off/regular breaks from work?

And i thought i am the only guy who has to work real hard to make $ online..fuck those bastards saying "Make $2k/day with just half hour of your time"

Yes, I also noticed, that when working for yourself, you have to do more, not less, because you don't have a fixed working day and it's your money...so you can't just say - it;s 7 pm - I go home and forget about everything

From betweend 6 and 11 AM to between 1 and 4 AM with some breaks, now when the college is over... and try to have at least 2 meals in normal hours and some exercise (from 30min to 2hours daily) :)

If you could make $2k in half hour you'd probably work all day for $48k :D at least I would...

I used to put it 100+ hours per week. Never left the laptop except to eat sleep and fuck.
Once every 2 months I would take 1 week off with only about 2 hours a day put in.
Super stressful.
Now I only put in work M-F (5-12 hours per day depending on what im doing) and take weekends off. I get way better results!

I hold a full time job 5am-12pm then I'm online 1pm-12am.

One thing I've learned is that money doesn't take breaks so I always try to automate everything I do.
Making money is very important but you have to allow time for yourself and your family. Finding ways that makes money on its own is my #1 rule

:beach2:

I work for 4-5 hours.. The other time is spent with my friends, family, gaming, movie, girlfriend and sometimes studies :D

Main site is still making >$8000/day net (and it's e-commerce)
two new auxiliary sites I've started doing, both to train my HYPS friends to help and secure additional income are making 400-500/day net each

I work around 14 hours per day 7 days a week and have for over 4 months. I'm still on vacation though :D and have been for over 2 months now. Been staying with the girlfriend in another country, working from afar.

Wow some guys here are hardcore. My attention span is really bad and after an half hour of work I need to get out or else I drive nuts.

The trick is outsourcing / automation, nail these and you will be able to work normal days and pull in the $.

I'm finding playing the fiddle the most awesome break from my IM.

Awesome cos I can pick it up and play for as little or as long as I like (without having to worry about other stupid factors).

It fits with it really well cos I can just set the automation programs running and go into the other room and play for awhile.

I guess everyone else has their own equivalent but this my particular fancy.

i've spent the last 2 months going hardcore all work no play. just this past weekend was my first time really hanging out with friends and family for more then 48 hours w/o thinking about coding or work. the income is sporadic but it's enough to keep me out of somebody else's office for awhile. i plan on putting another month and a half in before seeing another friendly outing tbh...

It varies for me. 1 day off being the shortest and the longest time off was 2 months and still earning...IM is the best.

I used to put in crazy hours as well but I learned that you need to work smart and not hard. Since then I've drastically changed the way I work.

During a typical workday, I'll work a 50 min session/10 minute break x2, then a 30 min break, then another 50/10 x 2 and I usually am able to finish everything I've needed to do.

Right now I'm in Mexico so things are a bit different....

Work hard on week days...party hard on weekend.

work smart and not hard.

Haha I always remember that quote from scrooge mcduck when I was like 10 years old and I have always kept it in mind to this day (27 now).

Scroogy knew his stuff and I like to think I've followed his philosophy.
