Hello comrades.

I wanted to start a thread where we could share our physical accomplishments in a quantitative manner. Without any pissing contests please. Ill lead by example:

Im 5'8, 153 pounds

Best interval cardio:
2.15 miles
16:33
307.1 ft elevation higher at destination (harder than it sounds I think)
33 degrees farenheit

Power lifts:

Max bench 230 pounds
Max barbell row 200 pounds (probably my most impressive lift)
Max military press 120 pounds :(
Max barbell curl 120 pounds

Body weight exercises

40 elevated leg dips
15 behind the head pull ups (for realz)
120 second plank with fifty pounds on my back

As for distance running ive never exceeded twelve miles.

I know im not too impressive, but im fairly balanced id say

Recent bests only. And numbers dont matter, just that youre working out is what counts :)

wow, and i feel happy with myself when I do 60 sit ups.. :D reminds me i need to get back in shape

Well that's good mate, How i wish to go out and have time doing work-out. Until now I haven't loss weight when I am controlling myself from eating too much and even do jogging sometimes.

Welcome to the community,

I'm a bodybuilder and have been training for give or take 10 years now. I don't max out or calculate the lbs on any movements, simply because it doesn't mean anything to me. I've been training long enough to where I'm well in tune with my body and adjust accordingly.

Congrats on your accomplishments.

I'm 6'2, 240lbs. I'm at 12% bf and currently cutting down. A general idea of my lifting stats, I rep 3 full sets with 3+ plates on each side on the flat bench, +3 and a 25 on the decline, +2 plates on the incline. 20 pullups, +85 lbs dumbbell curls (full sets), +1 plate and 20lbs on barbel curl (full sets).. and my run time is about 22mins in 3 miles

BTW, it's good to see another lifter here.

come on bro.. btw i hate that word "bro"

Yeah I need to get back in the gym also. IM and school take up all my dam time and energy.

I was curling 45s each arm. I think now I'm gonna have to go back to the dam 40s. hopefully no less than 35s.

This, in itself, is a pissing contest.

Do you understand that?

Thanks. It doesn't come overnight, I once started with 30's.

3 miles in 22 minutes is fucking phenominal. Add in the weight your pushing were talking goku status ;)

Tell me about your cutting phase. I think i got my diet worked out right finally but i wanna hear your workout routine.

Im down 109 pounds in a month and my power lifts have increased but not too much, regardless i think it means my diet is working

LOL I've always wanted to become super saiyan goku.

Heh, tell that to my knees. Running for that distance at that weight is not good for them. It's actually one of the reasons I'm cutting down.

How old are you and how long have you been training for? If you don't want to put your personal info on here, I'd understand

I guess knees are the price of greatness haha

Im 22, ive been training on and off for seven years, consistently for seven months, since getting clean and sober.

And super saiyan is my ultimate goal hahaha

The way I lift has changed since reading of a Univ. of Michigan study that revealed to build muscle, it was not necessary to lift heavy, but to lift to failure. I used to do something called static contractions (google it) with really heavy weights, then I killed my back on a 1/4 squat one day. I only lift heavy now if I'm on a Smith machine, but I find it better to just lift at 75% max for as many reps as possible. I'm also getting into more explosive stuff and mixing in a bit of heavy bag drills. For fun, I throw one of these in to keep it interesting:
