Just donated 10usd! Took me less than 60 seconds to donate via Paypal. I used to hate Mr. Beast's guts, but I couldn't anymore after watching the video. Growing up on an island that is frequented by tourists from around the world, I have witnessed the sheer destructive power of humans to nature, knowingly and unknowingly. Thanks for sharing this!

Since my mom retired she always donated her time at Women's Shelters, Animal shelters and basically everywhere she felt she could help in her free time. This had a big impact on my life seeing my role model giving back almost everyday.

So when a former teammate of mine passed away in 2018, my business partner and I were approached by some current players on the team to help with organizing a fundraiser tournament in his honor. We immediately agreed to help and ended up donating a website for the event and organizing the entire thing. We were able to raise a good amount of money and had a great turnout so it is now an annual event that gives back to a scholarship fund in his name for athletes from his home town.

I donate financially to several charities, including the scholarship fund for my alma mater. I also volunteer on the board of directors for a local country club as well as the local trade union shop for my day job (it's not really a union, but that's the closest concept that is easily understandable across countries).
I also volunteer my time with a few organizations out here and have been doing so since 2002. I'm involved with a Search and Rescue team (one of the busiest in the state). I also spent 11 years volunteering with my local fire department and have been involved in the life saving efforts with the large wildfires that have hit my area over the last 17 years. I'm also a HAM radio operator. There are other things I donate my time to, but this post is long enough for now.

On the weekends, I teach English to disadvantaged youths, and during the holidays, you'll often see me serving meals to the homeless at a local shelter.

As a big RAKtivist, I'm a huge proponent of giving back to others, especially when I have been so blessed.

I pay for a scholarship of a Malaysian kid every month ('god parent program'). We are also planning to become foster parents one day when our own children (2 and 4 yo) are old enough for it.

November is the month of Movember. Look it up!
Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. (prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention).

So last month, a guy came to my office (I'm a managing director of a solid size company in retail in our country) who's the founder of Movember foundation in our country (he's one by himself). Since November is coming and he has many activities in mind, he was asking for a donation. He's super passionate about what he's doing and he's already been doing it for several years now. His passion moved me, so we donated the organization 2000 EUR.

Yes, it doesn't come out of my pocket and I rarely donate anything, but I felt like this is something I must make happen. I told board members that I believe we should donate to this cause, and they approved. So I feel good. I hope this will be the year when the organization finally starts growing here.

Yes - I donated 40 trees to mr.beasts campaign and I also recently donated some money so a dog owner can pay for their dogs brain surgery

Thanks for doing so. I had surgeries for my Crohn's disease - one which resulted in life-threatening internal bleeding and required 2.5 blood transfusions before I was stable. Thanks again

I do charitable work coaching people through life changing events and illnesses. Having lost the ability to walk myself in 2014, and then going through a long process to get my mobility back, I have a burning passion to give back to others who need the support that I didn’t get.

I now run a business coaching high achievers to break through plateaus and ensure they don’t neglect their wellbeing. This allows me to continue to do charity work and I’m currently coaching a military amputee and a teenager who lost her parents in a house fire.

I arrange a buffet for 100 to 200 people every friday. This is the thing I am giving back to poor people. Noticed that we are spending lots of money eating out but in our country an average family barely eats food of high quality So i arranged a buffet type of system every friday and By God Grace it is growing day by day and people are contributing in this mission.

Hello everyone I really enjoyed this thread; this is important stuff and certainly worthy of discussion and consideration. In the political world, I'm well known (for example I work mostly with senatorial and congressional campaigns), for doing "wet work" reputation and disruptive SEO for national political campaigns (I also do very aggressive SEO and reputation mgmt. for contributions and "spin"). The stuff that happens behind the scenes can be pretty ugly and my approach for the last 15 years has been to brand myself as a "hired gun". This has worked out financially and has earned me some get out of jail free cards and powerful allies along the way. It's a very exclusive world that keeps to itself and I was fortunate enough to have a good friend who was a major tech contractor for the Navy; that's how I got my in. These campaigns are very unique, to say the least: lifetime gag orders/NDA's, FBI polygraph auditing, the complete inability to discuss my work with my family or anyone and an accumulation of knowledge that I wish I didn't have. Allot of emotional baggage comes along with this work and an important part of keeping my sanity and my self-respect has been utilizing my skillset, unique SEO technologies and connections to do some good in the world.

My current project (which is probably my favorite ever) is that I am building a volunteer fire department from scratch for a very vulnerable but beautiful town in Latin-America. This town was selected as it's where my in-laws have built their retirement home. I was prompted to build this campaign when a resident of this town died in a house fire because there is literally no fire rescue less than an hour away. My father-in-law is a retired fire captain and so we are working together closely on this. We have been able to fund everything through donations of money and equipment (we were just given a beautiful fire engine). We have been able to facilitate expert training and lead some pretty cool recruitment efforts. I built all of the infrastructure, websites, social and whatnot. I am executing simultaneous marketing campaigns: SEO, Social, E-Mail, WOMM, etc. We have seen excellent traction and we are getting close to the finish line.

Donated a pint of blood a couple of years ago.
Joined the charity unit in the community. We just gotta save humanity.

I usually travel monthly around Eastern Europe and pass borders (where most people smuggle things and pay money).
I buy food (sandwiches, kebab, meat), juice, in rare occasions a little bit vodka and rakia and give 5-10 bucks to people working these cold days (-15C to -30C) on the border with underrated salary, being forced to become corrupt to feed their families.

I've donate some coins in Runescape event for help kids.

I donate to a lot of animal organizations. I randomly help the homeless as well. This year I'm back living in Detroit, and my plan is to ride around the city giving out coats. So many homeless freeze to death out here during the winter. I never give them money when they ask. But I'll gladly donate all the food and resource they need.

I saved a homeless womans life once. It was during Christmas break a few years ago. I was living in California but visited my kids in Michigan for the Holidays. Detroit is my old stomping grounds so everyone I know is in Detroit. I was in a pretty rough area of the city (it's Detroit, so "rough areas" are 90% of the city) and saw a lady hugging a street sign and a knocked over shopping cart next to her. It was -30 F degrees. She was tiny, mybe 90 lbs. I stopped my car and asked if she was ok. THats when I noticed she was in distress. She could barely talk. So I got out and went to help her off the pole. Well i gues her body had created enough heat to melt the frost on the pole and fuse her jacket to it. I had to pry her off. I let her sit in my car and warm up and took her to a church. I hugged her and told her to stay at the church.

Was in California and seen another homeless woman in LA. It was 100 degrees out and she was carrying to big bags of bottle returns. This lady had to be at least 80 y/o. I bought her bottles from her for $160 (all the cash I had). She gave me a kiss on the cheek and thanked me 100x. No amount of money, fun, or anything I can do for myself comes close to the joy experienced in that moment.

In my business I offer to clients to round up their purchase amount, so let's say from 389euro to 400euro and give the difference to various associations and charities back in France.
Not sure if I'm doing a lot of good, but every little bit helps.

I teach some kids for free If that counts as good.
