Do you do some good?

Very inspiring to read the comments here. We give to animal shelters and certain causes close to us once in a while, but should do it more often.

The wife yesterday - this is half of what she bought for families in need for Thanksgiving. The other half she dropped at a friend's house as our freezer, despite being bigger than Andre the Giant, only has so much room.

Next week she will do the same.

She's a nice lady unlike her husband.

BTW, we don't eat turkey in our home on Thanksgiving unlike most in the USA, we do a ham instead.

I'm late but want to pitch in my monthly contributions.

$15 to St. Jude's children hospital

$5 to Evidence Action (Global Deworming)

$5 to Action Against Hunger - This one kind of pisses me off. I am donating already and the send me about 2 or 3 emails each week asking me to increase my donation and they'll "double it". Like it really seems like they're money hungry.

It's not much but I like to give back where I can. My goal is to increase these and add a few more, just gotta get my money up!

Well, this gonna make me feel like a dick...

But I don't believe in donating money to charity. It's often poorly managed and sometimes a straight up scam.

I often take the time to help people on Reddit that suffer from mental health issues.

I went to school for psychology and I've been able to help a lot of people gain the courage to start seeing a therapist. I have a list of people I follow up with every once in awhile to encourage their progress.

Sometimes people just want someone to talk to--and I like being there for them.

that’s giving back! Good mental health is worth a lot more than money can buy
