Hi, guys, thank you always for the great contents posted on this forum.

This is just a general question for anyone who has done or is doing online coaching, if you don't mind sharing your story.

If you have done or is doing online coaching, what is the niche/specialty of your coaching? How is it working out for you? Do you give extended access to your daily time for the coaching? Or is it more like a pre-packaged video coaching?

I have entertained the idea for myself, but I don't think I will get into that business any time soon. Got a lot of my plate full at the moment, but it is an interesting topic to explore!

Thanks,
SS

Yes, i do coach some people on CPA marketing with Maxbounty, Peerfly and others. I dedicate 2 - 3 hours per day for one on one coaching. i'm doing it for the passion not really for the money.

Do you put together some PDFs/documents or a syllabus for your clients or do you create a course that is catered to each of your clients through initial consultation? Do you talk to them online via chat messenger or actually talking to them? This is a broad generalization with no background information, but I have a feeling people these days would feel more comfortable typing/texting than actually speaking to you directly on video/voice communication?

Nope.

Coaching sucks. The coachee will fuck up and blame you.

Only way coaching works is among already rich people. They then make videos and say "I pay for coaching from top gurus", that's 99% bullshit designed to sell you "how to" guides.

I've done blackhat consulting for a few years and overall it's been a good side business. Wouldn't consider myself a coach though. I exchange money for information and the client gets a proven blackhat method for paying my fee.

As with any business, they'll be good and bad clients and coaches. Knowing exactly what the client wants or what the coach can teach is important in establishing a mutually beneficial relationship.

I coached a guy for about $2000, he realized SEO information is 90% misinformation and had no idea to figure out fast what works and what doesn't so he hired me to teach him. I thought him what I could, but he'd keep going back believing mainstream bullshit and ignoring what i taught him so he messed up. Eventually he approached making money differently and became successful. Now he's making about $100,000/mo from various projects and living the dream.

That is the fear, you know! If you get that person who is a blamer, then it's just going to be so much harder and they will learn nothing because they don't have the balls to face themselves.

Nope, but I am planning to give it a try soon. Will update the results if I do that.

Looking forward for the journey, Dr. Strange!

Wow, good for him!

WAT?

I don't. But, reminded me of an incident that happened more than 7-8 years back. I paid someone on bhw for online coaching. It was $100. Back in the days, it was a lot for me.

Once I paid, I realized that it involved adult content marketing. I don't want to blame the guy, I should have known better. I was a beginner and didn't ask enough questions to know that I would be promoting adult stuff. I backed out and lost the money. At the time, I did feel a tad bit cheated.

I won't name the guy but he passed away at a very early age and he had good reputation on bhw. And, he didn't scam me. As I said, I should have known things better and my morals come on my way.

If you are planning to start, keep in mind that there will be utter beginners like me as well in just about every niche out there.

That is terrible that he passed away! So sorry to hear that. :( Thank you for sharing!
