Do you believe in ghosts?

I have yet to experience anything clear enough for me to say/think ghosts are real, but I've read tons of stories and heard people talk about their experiences. I'm intrigued by the thought of it, but don't know what to think.

I feel like half the online stuff I read about is a company marketing, making up stories everywhere to keep ghost movies and shows interesting, with people not being sure whether they are real or a fairytale.

I wanted to hear BHWs opinion and stories, if any.

sure they are real... but they not look like this

there is a physical and a non-physical world... in the non physical world are non-physic beings which you can not see if you do not have natural or special abilities to become aware of them. we have a filter for our perception otherwise you would be damn confused all time...

There is a curious explanation of ghosts in modern physics. Some claim that ghosts are a possibility, and they are actually a scenes from the past you witness (something between TV and time-machine).
Interesting...You got any link for further reading?

Much of what you read as "ghosts" and things you find on TV these days is highly exaggerated. For example, you won't wake up one day and just happen to see a ghost. Now, it may happen to a select few, but there are people who have trained themselves in ESP ( extra sensory perception). It has to deal with states of mind. Many people are closed off these days, asleep walking throughout the world in their own mind jungle. However, some people unknowingly tap into other resources of their mind, triggering events that may or may not be welcomed. As for me, i know about it, never have seen a ghost, but have seen and experienced some so called "weird" phenomena in my lifetime. Its just new experiences i'm not used to, like i get a gut feeling instinct, then a warm tingle of pleasure throughout my body, and a need for deep breaths. Yes, i wouldn't say go looking for ghosts. you might end up being dreaded as psychotic or weird, unless you come out with your own TV show and make bank. my two cents

I can see why you dont believe in ghosts. You never had any personal experiences first hand and you probably do not want to.

I know ghosts/demons/paranormal is real because I lived through it as a child. Now I can see that some of you reading this might be laughing but its your loss.

My paranormal life was the scariest/most amazing thing that has happened.

Ill tell you my story. So when I was small, around 7 years old. I took a trip to Mexico with family and everything. I guess, over the next years or months. I started hearing noises at night. But I only started hearing noises at night when everybody in the house was asleep. I guess, they were demonic sounds like in the movie exorcist. Anyways, I remember every night. I would get nervous and my stomach would cramp from the nervousness, I was nervous because I kept hearing noises at night.

I remember the first episodes of my (poltergeist or demons).
When I first started hearing noises at night, I woke up my brother and told him if he heard any noises. He said no.
So I came to the conclusion that only I was the one hearing noises, but the noises would come out only when everyone in the house was asleep.

My first name is Gilbert. So imagine a demonic noise, like the exorcist. Imagine a voice saying Gilbert to you at night. I always slept with the lights on, and the voices still came out. On my room, their is a window on the right side of the bed that connects to the living room in the back. But we have curtains covering the window as decorations.

So sometimes, I remember, this one episode, when I was watching tv at night with lights on because I couldnt sleep for fear of the noises, and I heard my name "gillllbbeerrtt". I think most of the times, the noises was coming from the window that was connected to the back living room.

*okay, as im writing this, my nerves are tensing up and my eyes are getting a little bit watery* but fuck it.

Anyways, I remember one time when it was late at night and I heard my name being called again but this time one of the cabinet doors opened and closed loud. And I was surprised that nobody even woke up. But I was small at that time and seeing the cabinet open and close with no one touching it was scary. It was and I am tramautized, but you learn to appreciate it.

I remember sometimes, I would sleep on the same bed with my mom. (I was small so dont get any wrong images or whatever). And then I would wake up at the middle of the night. And one of the "noises' again was whispering my name. But it said it real slow. Like "giiiiiiiillllllbbbeeerrrt"
the entity (I guess you can call it that) said my name but like a whistled voice. No one was awake in my house only me.

I think one of the most tramautizing parts was one time when my sisters came over to sleep. So my sisters slept at my room and I had to sleep on my parents room on the floor. I remember, i woke up because I was hearing the "noises' again. But this time, I was sleeping with my head facing the door of the room. And I kept hearing my name "giiilllllbbeeerrtt' like all demonic and yeah. From the position that I woke up because I heard my name. I saw a shadow and to me it felt like it was a grim reaper. Im not sure why. I woke up my parents and it stopped.

The thing that I always wondered was. Why me? Afterall, the episodes only occured when only I was the only one awake in the house and no one else.

Incase, you are wondering if I still have experiences. No I do not.
The episodes stopped the day I got babptized in a christian church.
Its kinda weird. Becuase I mean, people read the bible and everything but probably only believe in it because of 'faith' and no personal experience.

But I remember the night I got babptized. I remember in my bed. I was all tensed and everything just waiting for the noises or 'episodes' to occur but nothing happened. Ever since I got babptized in a christian church, it stopped and it never happened again.

I guess you can say, from that experience alone from me 'that proved that God does exist or their are some other unatural things on this planet'

To this day, im not sure if i had a demon or a poltergeist.
But it was one of the most scariest and one of the most amazing experiences I ever experienced. Its a wake up call of letting you know what out their and whats real

Thats why I say, when poeple dont believe in ghost or whatever, I tell them you will believe in them when you have a personal experience first hand.

ghosts? nahh not too scary or real.

serial killers? cannibals? sadists? psychopathy? now there's a scary bunch...

interesting story bro.
heard similar stuff from others.

The funny thing is that most "ghosts" are fabricated by your brain. That's why whatever religion you're in and you get "treatment" all religions will somehow "fix" the problem and the "ghosts" or "demons" will go away since subliminally you thought that was the answer. Reality is indeed shaped by your perception of it.

^ Most ghost occurrences aside (described above) it doesn't rule out the possibility of beings that are in one dimension higher than us. For example, in a flat pond a fish's reality is bound by going straight or sideways. A horizontal axis does not exist, and theoretically, if you tried to explain the new axis (horizontal) to the fish it would be unfathomable for the fish. We on the other hand can look down on the fish in their ignorance and they will never know about us their entire lives. We can influence their lives a bit by shaking the pond for example, or putting our hand inside the pond and making part of us visible. That way we'd become "ghosts" for the fish since they can't really see or comprehend us but they can see the effects of our work such as shaking the pond.

I'll believe when I see one. I have tried several times going to the scariest places you can imagine, but so far no luck. If I see a ghost I'll probably laugh in his face though, I really can't remember the last time I have been scared.

The only "poltergeist" moments for me were when I was trekking in the mountains, in bear country. Constant noise from leafs moving in the wind, noise on the ground made by small animals like lizards and rats, noise above made by bats and owls. I'm sure that everything has a logic explanation, even if I didn't saw the sources of the noise (well, I did saw some bats flying above the camp fire), I pretty much knew the causes.
Even if the cause is not that obvious, you can dig a little harder and discover the truth.
I'm wondering how many guys that posted ghost stories are watching horror movies.
I don't believe in the existence of ghosts and I don't watch horror movies (I find them rather funny then scary, a waste of time), like someone else said, I believe only in what I see and everything that has a logic, scientific explanation.

Yes ghost exists in the same world we live. Going through your thread made me so damn scared right now as i sit in my room at 2:35am with my laptop.

Yeah I think ghosts are real. My old house was supposedly haunted but I never seen anything. My cousin said at night he used to hear chains dragging outside and see walking gnomes(wtf) and my sister said she woke up in the middle of the night and saw someone opening her window. (from the inside) I also have a cousin whose house is haunted by a little Indian girl. That bitch just wanders the house thinking she owns the place. My cousin's uncle tried to follow her one time but she disappeared right as she turned the corner. But yeah that little girl has been seen by a lot of people.

I've had several visions let me call them but not all of them were scary. I remember some though..

When I was a child, maybe 7 or 8 years old, I used to see all kinds of insects, snakes, reptiles, spiders you can image on my room. This happened only when I turned the light off. They directly disappeared when I would turn the light on. I tried to close my eyes, and suddenly a joker-like character appeared, and he was laughing so badly I can't forget it. I tried to stick my head under my pillow, only to find out a colony of ants was staying there. I was so scared I could not sleep for 3 days in a row.

Though I've seen pretty ones as well. Anyway ghosts certainly exist, and so do a lot of other "entities" we don't know...

yes ghosts are real. when you think about reality and put it all together it make sense.

1. reality as you experience it is completely made up of your thoughts
2. your observations of the world effect it, simply by observing (quantum mechanic buzz idea)
3. all matter, all light, and everything in the universe (including thoughts) is made of the same thing; vibrating energy
4. it is a fact that we only experience a small fraction of the full reality, we only see 3 dimensions and only see a small portion of the light spectrum
5 this means that there is a vast universe of hidden, occult stuff that we simply can't percieve. science is telling us this all the time.
6. ghosts can be interpreted in many ways. would you call a being who is existing in an alternate dimension a ghost? i would, that basically is what a ghost is only we are brainwashed into thinking that a ghost ONLY lives in an afterlife. what if ghosts are beings in other dimensions who can only have limited ability to appear, or affect this worlds.
7. ghosts and aliens have both been theorized to be inter-dimensional. you can't rule out the possibility of an infinite amount of hidden realities, thus you can't rule out that ghosts are interdimensional.

Anything is possible in alternative realities/universes/dimensions/whatever but I think it's pretty clear that ghosts do not exist in what we perceive as reality.

8. side point: ghosts may be real because the illuminati are supposedly communicating and are in collusion with certain spirits. :p (sounds like i'm joking but i'm not)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0qiB2hbFwo

I've seen this video and also the full video.. I know the truth behind all ghosts, demons, devils, satans............... I'm not kidding.. And I know what this man experienced, and I also know what he don't know what actually happened with him.

Honestly, I don't know anymore. I never did, but in the last few years, I've had some pretty creepy shit happen to me. I'm a fairly light sleeper. I close my door when I sleep, so if anyone came in (family), I'd wake up for sure. I turn my computer off at night, and several times I've woken up to my computer on and running..Scared the shit out of me lol, makes no sense.

DUDE taht happens to my PC sometimes. ALWAYS AT 3AM

3AM is known as the witching hour, its the opposite of the time jesus died (3PM). and supposedly demonic shit is more likely at 3Am

so i was scared a bit too, but then i realized the truth. DEMONS AND GHOSTS CAN'T DO SHIT TO US WHEN WE TAKE CONTROL OF OUR OWN MINDS AND SPIRITS.

I'll believe when I see one. I have tried several times going to the scariest places you can imagine, but so far no luck. If I see a ghost I'll probably laugh in his face though, I really can't remember the last time I have been scared.

that is probably why you will never see one. because your vibration makes it impossible for them and their vibrations to even come into your reality.

this is why the media tries to lower our vibration 24/7 so that satan and his demons can enter our lives more and more. i even read that the grey aliens ALSO need our vibrations to be lower so they too can start to enter the world physically.
