Do you believe in ghosts?

[Brainstorming]

I have yet to experience anything clear enough for me to say/think ghosts are real, but I've read tons of stories and heard people talk about their experiences. I'm intrigued by the thought of it, but don't know what to think.

I feel like half the online stuff I read about is a company marketing, making up stories everywhere to keep ghost movies and shows interesting, with people not being sure whether they are real or a fairytale.

I wanted to hear BHWs opinion and stories, if any.

yes ghosts are real. when you think about reality and put it all together it make sense.

1. reality as you experience it is completely made up of your thoughts
2. your observations of the world effect it, simply by observing (quantum mechanic buzz idea)
3. all matter, all light, and everything in the universe (including thoughts) is made of the same thing; vibrating energy
4. it is a fact that we only experience a small fraction of the full reality, we only see 3 dimensions and only see a small portion of the light spectrum
5 this means that there is a vast universe of hidden, occult stuff that we simply can't percieve. science is telling us this all the time.
6. ghosts can be interpreted in many ways. would you call a being who is existing in an alternate dimension a ghost? i would, that basically is what a ghost is only we are brainwashed into thinking that a ghost ONLY lives in an afterlife. what if ghosts are beings in other dimensions who can only have limited ability to appear, or affect this worlds.
7. ghosts and aliens have both been theorized to be inter-dimensional. you can't rule out the possibility of an infinite amount of hidden realities, thus you can't rule out that ghosts are interdimensional.

8. side point: ghosts may be real because the illuminati are supposedly communicating and are in collusion with certain spirits. (sounds like i'm joking but i'm not)

Interesting input. I've read a lot about dimensions, also and think pretty similarly to you. Although, I think that peoples spirits who have died, could have gone to a different dimension, which we are only sometimes and only certain people are able to witness.

Yea, if you think about it. Your thoughts right now exist in 2 ways, the physical way, which we see as neurotransmitters causing neurons to fire; and also in your own virtual world.

Are your thoughts what you see in your head, or are they the chemicals and patters of neurons firing. Well it seems they are both physical and abstract. So in a way, a big part of ourselves is locked away in some place that we cannot detect physically (our mental virtual reality), but we can see the physical manifestations of it (the neurons firing) which tells us physically how your body is experiencing that abstract thing.

To me this means that there is a world outside of the physical 'real' world. And by the way, your body lives in the physical world but your mind lives in the virtual world. The mind never experiences the real world, it only picks up chemical signals from eyes, ears, nose etc and uses those signals to for creation of the virtual replica of the real world. So this leads me to believe that we have a spirit/non-physical part (or what ever term) and a physical body.

Honestly, I don't know anymore. I never did, but in the last few years, I've had some pretty creepy shit happen to me. I'm a fairly light sleeper. I close my door when I sleep, so if anyone came in (family), I'd wake up for sure. I turn my computer off at night, and several times I've woken up to my computer on and running..Scared the shit out of me lol, makes no sense.

The real question is "Do ghosts believe in the existence of humans?" And if they do, what are their plans for us? Scare us and lead us to a content locker to fill some CPA?

You probably just are so used to shutting it down every night, that you thought you actually turned it off, when you didn't. Or it was probably just a technical BUG that caused that. I don't consider odd stuff that happens with electronics weird, because I know it's technical issues.

A system may turn itself on to update stuff. You may have such a feature on.

I don't think that ghosts is all marketing talk. People just love the thought of ghosts and they have been a part of legends since way before marketing was "invented". I remember being young back in the late 90s when I had to download .wmv videos from sites...I used to stay up till the morning searching for creepy stuff. Some of it looked real and back then you could barely find 50 videos of "ghosts".

Hahahah...very funny. Please check up the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wake-on-LAN Wake-on-Lan feature. You can disable it on your machine and/or router.
