You have to think, creation-wise. I don't know but I'm sure we have to be created by something. Something just doesn't appear out of nowhere, so you have to think what created us? Did it create us humans only? Did it create other beings? Of course it is responsible for having made the universe which is why we're here.
As for religion, that is another matter. Religion is just like internet marketing, a business, a scheme... bullshit basically. They try to teach you the 'truth' when in actuality they just rely on some old 2,000 year old book full of myths. In a time when morals and values were different. In the bible, it was okay to rape women. If you were a woman and you got raped by a man, you'd have to marry him. According to God's law at that time of course. Which to us is non-sense now.
Back on the Alien subject, yes I believe there has to be other life out there. As we discover more and more about the universe, the chances of us being the only living planet are getting smaller and smaller.
Why haven't aliens visited us? Pretend we were aliens, and we were looking out for planets with our telescopes. We spot a planet 10,000 light years away. This planet we find is Earth. Now when we see Earth, we don't see it as it is today. We see it as how it was 10,000 years ago. No skyscrapers, no cars, no nuclear reactors, not industrialized at all. So if Aliens see our planet from thousand and thousands of lightyears away, from their observation. We're still VERY primitive in their eyes.
