Do people actually make money from Forex?

If you are about to open a forex trading account just remember to not go with shady brokers like IQ Options, Olymp Trade, Expert Option, Binomo etc. These let you trade with small amounts but block your account if you make a big deposit or earn too much.

Go with a reputed broker that is headquartered in your country.

The people who make the most money from forex are forex broker owners, youtube gurus who sell illusions, and people who work with forex affiliates.

Just as people make money from crypto margin and futures trading. I know people who did make money from both.
 
I know a guy making $300/day from federal prison, trading forex. he said something about having to lose money for 8 months to finally get the hang of it. I guess it applies to everything in life. With experience comes profit?

I actually find swing trading easier and safer as compared to forex.

The contracts usually involve a family member giving surety that the member will pay the loan if he couldn't pay it. The lender will file a case if they refuse to pay it.

News are rigged but they move the market...

What is a technical trader according to you? Because if it's a guy doing naked forex and analysing patterns, it's not and I know a lot of people say technical traders when it's just gambling.

If you say a math phd and data analyst who is looking at his chart for 10 years analysing market movements mathematically... I agree...

as a trader myself making money Trading forex isn't what you see on instagram & telegram groups
Took me from February 2020 to the end of 2021 to become profitable, and profitable means
Each trade taken should have at least 1:2 (RISK:REWARD)
can say each trade I want 20$ profit but if my analysis is wrong my loss should be 10$ or less
so from 10 trades
if I'm wrong on 5 trades... and right about 3 and 2 trades closed at break-even (Worst case scenario for me)...

5 X 10 = 50$
3 X 20 = 60$
2 X 0 = 0$

still can get out profitable after a loosing streak

I only risk 3 - 7% of my capital on each trade...
can say 6$ to 14$ max loss on each trade with a 200$ trading account
(REMEMBER ONLY 1:2 R:R ... THE BIGGER THE REWARD THE MORE PROFITABLE YOU'RE)

don't believe social media fake stuff, learn well (Candlesticks / Basic Support - Resistance - Trend Identification / Chart Patterns / and one strategy that you back-tested on demo account.... and of course Learn Risk Management)

It pays off well at the end even that it's so fucking stressing

I do forex trading in my free time but my account size is small <$3k. So far it has been quite profitable but it has taken me a long, long time to get to this point. Many people will call it a scam but it's because they are misinformed. There are lots of scams disguised as "forex" but that's nothing new with the internet.

If you want to learn there is a plethora of free info and content out there, just don't fall for the get-rich-quick methods or secret indicators, there is no such thing. Forex is a legitimate career for some and if you want to get into it don't expect to be profitable after a few months of slapping a few indicators on a chart and watching the candles go up and down. It's a hard skill and takes time to learn, develop and groove.
 
Only few people make Money from forex. Most people loose.
Forex trading is like gambling.

I have tried it but quickly chicken out.
 
Making money in Forex, Crypto, Indices, whatever. is harder than most of the things out there.

What I know today, I learned it the hard way, I lost thousands with leverage, till a realised that the things are not as easy as the "gurus" told us. (Crypto)

It looks easy because you can make thousands in minutes, yes. But the people who are (not selling courses on the internet for $100) and are really making money, has 10-15 years of knowledge behind them, and you can't find them as easy as you find the "lambo guys". The rest is yada-yada.

Can you become a Forex trader ? Yes of course, if you are willing to pay the price of the hours what you have to put in and learn "boring things" like the economy.

If you are not interested in the economy in the first place, don't go in this niche. I love the economy and the financial things, this is why I get into it couple years ago, but still trading it's not my main income.
 
It has to be very correct timing to make money from forex. You should be able to buy stocks when the market is really down.

I believe it's a thing that only few people can get consistent returns from.
There's this guy on youtube : https://www.youtube.com/c/RoaringKitty, he's also the reddit user u/DeepFuckingValue if you heard of him. He does technical analysis and shares some ideas and methods in his streams / videos
 
Yes many people make good money from forex. But lot of patience is required to earn money from it.

I've noticed that a lot of people that have inheritances or trust funds claim they made their money with forex, stocks, poker, or crypto (if they're younger).

if one has an understanding of concepts and has tactics he could be consistenlty profitable with stock and options day trading
