Do people make money from Forex or is it all just an illusion.

I used to wprk for a Forex company a few years ago. People make money until they get greedy. Too big of a leverage will get you out of the game. Limit yourself to a resonable one and you might get a shot. A leverage of 1:100 will take you out if the asset lost 1% even for a moment.

I doubt most retail forex traders or day traders make a livable income from it. Wall Street guys obviously make money with it, though.

I've noticed that a lot of people that have inheritances or trust funds claim they made their money with forex, stocks, poker, or crypto (if they're younger).

Only sure way to make money in forex is selling forex bots to uneducated retail traders.

So if you are ready to beat banks, have a million dollar algorithm to trade, go ahead.

If you don't, your life will be a stop loss festival (and it's better than having no stop loss at all...)

You have better odds making money in casino than against big banks and their algos and people with PhD in math always updating banks algos.

Thats true a lot of people even not in a forex industries, many people loose thier money with no knowledge at all

One guy in my neighborhood convinced 20-30 people to invest in forex. He promised to give twice the money after 6 months. He lost it all and committed suicide. Some people suspect that he invested in crypto but told them forex because people may not trust crypto. His family didn't pay anything to anyone as there are no contracts involved.
