Question in the tittle
So I really need you guys advice.
Thanks.

Why would you?

It's like asking if you need to learn to scuba dive, to go swimming in a pool.
They're not relying on each other, the connection is quite distant.

Because when I read some threads here there's some technical words make me feel I need to learn how to code.

some basic HTML editing is good, other than that you would be fine! you can always hire someone to get the technical job done. It's just that how you value your time.

As https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/buildmorelinks.335747/ said, is some basic HTML knowledge advisable, but not necessary at all. I am a complete noob and even ranked a site on Google's first page in 2-3 months (was working about 5-6 hrs per day on this).

All the SEO gurus who have emailed me lately can code though. They have 25 years experience in Android and iPhone app development, Java, PHP, CSS, C++, C#, Python, Javascript, SQL, ASP and HTML. How are you ever going to compete if you can't do all that?

Basically No

But

For Hardcore seo you need to learn programming which includes modifying scripts and html for faster page load. Using Ajax and other for better UX. These are also a part of an seo

Probably the best answer :).

I'm going to go against the grain and say yes. Knowing basic html, css, js, and apache directives has helped me stand out from other seos that just know how to place a few plugins in wordpress and buy backlinks and citations.

No, some basic HTML and PHP knowledge is certainly nice, but that's it. The key of a successful business is not to try to do everything yourself, it's more about management.

no, though i had a couple of moments when i had to figure out how to fix some shit in Wordpess footer in WP editor
