Do I need to ask for consent

Hi everyone,

I have a question. I am going to include in my blog some photos and a video from one of the news. I need those to demonstrate something I am going to write about. The blog is at the moment at a very initial stage and there are no fees or charges, nor even CPA offers, which means I am not using the photos or a video to make money.

Do I need a permission of the news company which released this video in order to put it on my blog?

Yup, you need permission. But you can always ask them if they can allow it and you will give them proper credit on your article.

Some will accept credit for the image as sufficient recognition but you're as well to check their website for terms etc and even reach out to their media people.
