Do hyperlinks count as backlinks?

"One of the worst threads I ever read. A must."
- The New York Times

"My stomach is just boiling with constipation. A must read."
- Barron's Book Club

"Never ending, raw and intestinal. A thread for the ages."
- Oprah

We all laugh now, but if OP opens a BST a few weeks from now selling penguin-proof hyperlinks, watch how many review requests he gets.

This feels to me like the making of 50% of the BST.

fuck, now i know what i was doing wrong, i kept making mellowlinks and chilllinks, sometimes i'd get lucky and create a caffinatedlink, but damn man....how do you hyperlink?

Hyperlinks are now called links. Most of those hyperlinks suffered from ADHD but they received treatment.

Did you mean *** when you said hyperlink? If yes, since that link doesn't have any anchor text but just the web address of a website it shouldn't rank for any keywords. Maybe it should rank for the same URL address if someone searched that in search engines.

Thanks, that is a very interesting info.

After 400+ postings you still have no clue of what a hyperlink is, i wonder how many post it will take before you make your first $$$$, i think by that time Google is going to leave hyperlinks as a ranking tool all together ergo: don't give up your dayjob.

Or is there a difference, because everytime I create hyperlink pointing to my website it never shows up as a backlink.

As of now, Google gives hyperlinks the same vote or value as backlinks. If you plan to put hyperlinks in other's comment box, be sure you install an extension that tracks whether the links will be ******** or nofollow. What I use: nofollow (that's the name of the extension), which you can download onto Google Chrome through extensions.

Hope that helps!
