Or is there a difference, because everytime I create hyperlink pointing to my website it never shows up as a backlink.

Did you mean http://www.mywebsite.com when you said hyperlink? If yes, since that link doesn't have any anchor text but just the web address of a website it shouldn't rank for any keywords. Maybe it should rank for the same URL address if someone searched that in search engines.

I add it with the anchor text but for some reason it is not showing any backlinks when I look for backlinks pointing to my website. IS it because like qseraus said that hyperlinks are non follow?

A backlink is any link that links back to your website, whether it's within an image, a test anchor or just a raw URL. As long as the hyperlink isn't no-follow, it's a backlink.

Then why can't I see the backlinks I manually created on ahref, OSE or any other SEO tools.

well, are they?

well yes. A hyperlink is a really old name for what most people call backlinks these days.
a backlink is a backlink regardless if its nofollow or do follow.
who ever said nofollows dont count above is wrong.

the reason yours don't show up is you probably mean you've bought PBN links. These are on sites with good backlinks (hopefully) so bots find them quicker than on the new page you might create yourself.

also ahrefs & majestic just dont show ever link. For example, it seems to be a while before web2.0 links show up on them - for me anyway.
They are also in some cases a lot slower at picking up new links than google.

I am selling hyperlinks from now on, this sounds so retro
OP should really just try surfing the information superhighway to find his answer next time.
