Do Google Updates affect sites with Sape Links?

sape still works on my side..

what i did was i diversified my links..

i just not focus on sape links..

I absolutely agree with t0mmy. There will always be people who will say this doesn't work and that doesn't work. I remember when Panda rolled out people were bashing AMR and most other tools out there. I still use AMR and have great results. You have to spend time and learn the mediums that you intend to use and it's all about the HOW not the what.

Well this is the nature of the beast one "guru" says something, then all the little sheep eat it up for breakfast then spit it out and regurgitate it over and over on the forums, a lot of the time its complete bullshit and usually the same crap rehashed then repeated. My advice test the shit out of everything yourself don't adhere to the status quo....

Using SAPE is like trading a system to invest in stocks. It works under certain conditions and stops once the weather changes.

Such links are highly risky. They put a website in jeopardy and if the website gets caught, You can't save yourself from Google's wrath.

Mmhh from a simple question whose answer I was interested in to a minor tiff.

I wouldn't mind hearing from other users.

Some people are coming to judgements too quickly.

SAPE links are just like any other black hat link. Would you place a link on a Web 2.0 stuffed with nude/pharma/porn? No. You would take the time to ensure your links go on quality Web 2.0s with relevant content.

The same goes for SAPE. You would take the time to filter out the BAD links and put your links on the GOOD ones. Those who KNOW how to do this WILL benefit from the advantages. Those that just buy SAPE links and don't do anything else are the ones who may complain.

I like to use SAPE links in conjunction with our links (web 2.0s with unique content, etc etc). This is the best way in my opinion to use SAPE and even if Google does catch up to it, chances are you will be most likely fine due to your other strong backlinks around the SAPE links.

In simple words, if you KNOW how to use SAPE and their background / filters, then you are fine. Those who have had issues are probably new with SAPE because I know for a fact that it is gold, as I have been using it with other networks with great luck. SURE- one day Google will probably catch up to it. Id say another 6 months or more, but until that day comes, these links are worth being bought because the results are mind-blowing.

And no, I am not a SAPE seller.

Best answer on the thread.

Absolutely agree with Leith.

Sapeworks for more than 6 years! And all these years people have beens saying that the system will soon fail. But it doesn't. Russian webmasters do use it even now. The only thing that changed in russian SEO for young sites is that people buy less sape temporary links and more permanent ones, using similar systems. The best one is GGL.

PS. Sorry for my English if I said smth wrong.

Cheers!

GGL is popular along with similar sites like MiraLinks (and countless others). Problem with these sites for English marketers is the lack of non .RU domains with little to no English content. They also offer little in terms of ease of use for Google marketers; e.g. lack of PR, indexed status, etc. You'll need to do a lot of manual homework before buying links off these networks. However, for Yandex they do work wonders.

Moral of the story... Diversify your links. Don't rely on only SAPE any more than you'd rely on any other BH linktype. SAPE can be equally good or bad, depending on how you use it for yourself. Be smart. Get ranked. Earn money.

Oh well,it would have been nice to just see the reviews from customers, instead of the thread being dominated by a supplier.

Thanks for the detailed reply Leith, that was the answer iwas looking for really ;)

What everyone here has failed to mention... is SapeFusion! Have Tommy and his boys build you a Web 2.0 network... with their SAPE links... no direct linking to your $$$ site. Lessens the risk, while still realizing the benefit. Plus... they do all the work.

Tommys Sapefusion is exactly what I was talking about above. With a powerful structure like this, you will simply just rank hard and bank hard. Again, those who take the time to ensure they make the most from SAPE will succeed. Those who just throw it at a site and hope to have lifetime results need to rethink their logic.

Some replies from here are funny.
SAPE links have a big disadvantage- their name. If tomorrow the name will be changed to BlaBla Links there won't be anyone saying the websites using these BL will be punished by Google :)) Forget about your competitors which are outranking you for a moment and try to think clear: WHY would be these websites punished? ( the websites getting SAPE BL)

a) The links are posted on non-English websites? Not very important since we used to do blog commenting even on chinese blogs and we continued to rank fine if the anchor text was diversified and content was alright.

b) The links are posted on highly spammed websites? No
c) Are the links having bad neighbours. Some of them, but again how many of our old BL are not having this problem? Agree, we are now focusing more on highly contextual BL but the old ones are still there and my feeling is that they continue to do their job.
d) Are those domains ( from where the BL are coming) banned by Google in any manner: NO ( it's a stupid statement but we need to cover all the humors)
e) Can those SAPE links be mixed with other types of Backlinks for diversification? Of course.

One more thing, If you are worried about that you will be banned for receiving link juice for SAPE type of BL, please send me a PM and I will send you one of my URLs. You can point all those "bad" backlinks to my website :)

Cheers!

What I am doing is use these blackhat links the white hat way if I can say so. What I mean with this.
1. Diversify the Pr of the websites, it can raise some flags to google if your links are coming from the same pr, use even pr 0 links with some generic anchors.
2. Diversify your anchors. Here there are 2 options. Use sape links mainly with your main achor and use other type of links to diversify your profile. But I randomize even with the sape links, for the pr 0 and pr 1 I am using mainly generic anchors, naked urls and some lsi phrases.
3. Quality not quantity. Choose sites in english with .com .net .org preferably. Choose old sites, I am using sites that are at least 300 days old. Use DMOZ listed websites, not all of them, just randomize. Choose sites with low obl, I am using <5. Check for fake pr, bad neighborhood and if the site/url is deindexed. There are other filters you can use but that's what comes to my mind now.

Just make everything natural I am not following any pattern, I randomize the pr, anchors etc. I never use the same strategy twice. Use sape alongside with other link types and everything must be safe enough, like i said use blackhat links the white hat way !

I've been using SAPE links for a while now and they're still doing wonders for me.

Are you using them to target your main keywords or mostly branded links? What type of ratios are you running with these types of links?

I agree with @FuryKyle, know what you are using them for. If you are looking for long term benefits (i.e. 12+ months). I say 12 months, because in this space even 12 months is a long time, then SAPE links probably are not for you. However.. if you want to validate a concept by being on the first page and seeing if people convert, then SAPE will do the trick for from what I can presume like, 4-6 months.

Cheers!

From my experience more and more sites with sape links go under the google filters. Not trying to offence some sellers but it's really hard to find good site to provide links on sape. Yes, they may help you rank up for month or two, but you will have nightmares with Matt Cutts everyday laughing at you and screaming "rel=nofollow!" all night long.
Ok, back to your question - yes, each google update strikes thousands of sape sites. And webmasters are building new low qualitie sites and add them to sape and sell links again and the circle continue.
You'd better stay away from this, it's not worth it. Nowadays we are buying links on sites like webeffector (not promoting this, it's not much better) and buy eternal links, not rent them like it was in sape.

Russian seo.
