Do fresh pins matter more than follower count now?

I am learning traffic and keep hearing different opinions. Some people focus on creating new pins every day while others say followers still matter. For memebers actively using Pinterest. what has made the biggest difference in getting traffic from a newer account?

In my experience , relevant pins have done better than follower counts. In accounts that are relatively new, posting regularly and directing people to great content works better than going after followers..

Number of followe is no longer the most significant factor. one optimaly created new pin with correct keyword can perform better than an older account. It has been seen that a combination of both consistency and some experimentation leads to gud outcome.

Kind of feels like newer accounts do better when all the Pins revolve around the same type of problem because once someone likes one Pin, they're a lot more likely to stick around if the rest of the profile feels connected instead of being all over the place
 
Fresh pins consistently posted has mattered way more than follower count for us Pinterest rewards new content over audience size, more like a search engine than a social platform.
 
There's no need to focus on getting followers, as users primarily find content through Pinterest's search bar. Creating 1 to 5 new Pins per day helps the algorithm understand your content and recommend it to the right people.
 
From what seen fresh high quality pins have a bigger impact than follower count Consistency and creating relevant content seem to drive more traffic than simply having more followers.
 
You should post content regularly. Instead of posting a lot at once, create 1-5 new pins each day to maintain consistency.
 
I lean towards fresh Pins.

I've come across Pins from accounts with very few followers that still get great reach because they match what people are searching for!

Yes fresh quality Pins trump numbers of followers. Posting consistently will definitely improve your reach and traffic.
 
I think that on Pinterest, having a larger follower base is still important. However, you also need to update your content regularly to keep your audience engaged and maintain consistent traffic.
