After reading this thread, I am changing the DP for few of the twitter accounts I manage. Lets see if follow back count shows any difference.

Yes they work, good looking guys pics work too! just don't use a logo!! I mean who wants to follow a boring company or a business.

I thought that a logo would be better, but it seems that it only works good for nsfw sites already branded(playboy,brazzers etc.) or whitehat projects trying to look official and then it would have to be a decent logo not something created by an amatuer using a cheap logo maker.

It works if you don't overkill and go for girls that look next-door rather than model type.

I think it depends, if its for a brand like a website models might be better.

If you're tweeting a lot, try to slow down on that. People don't like it when they only have 50 other followers and you're taking up the whole stream.

While I appreciate the sentiment, she isn't really my type. This is more what I was looking for.

hot pics definitely works, it works for anything, what you need to think about is if the people that will follow an account with a hot pic are your target niche

I don't use female profile pics, but recently many religious accounts started following me, I think it's because I followed someone from their target list.
