just curious, do all of the IG pages with huge followings make thousands of $ a day with shoutouts and promos?

Yes, there's one local artist in my country charge $200 for one review post, the followers are only 50k and he post "review post" 2-3 times a week. Think about how much he could earn with 100k++ followers.

Probably not thousands a day but good money if they know how to market. But thousands per month sure

They do make good money, but at some point diminishing returns kicks in and the pay doesn't scale as fast as small-timers do, because the more followers they gather, the bigger is the price of the ad
