Domz link is not that impossible, but we get a lot of submissions, and as you know it's voluntary work so the editors not working full time.

And I don't advice you about paying. The editor who fooled Dmoz would foul you also, he would add it untill he get his payment then he can remove so easily.

I can't believe people think that. I mean, Google sometimes uses DMOZ titles and descriptions on their SERPs and your are telling me DMOZ is worthless and carries no relevance in the eyes of Google.

I see no rationality in that line of thought.

People hate DMOZ because its hard to get a link there. DMOZ links are harder to come by then Wikipedia and you know how much everybody drools over Wikipedia links. They're top notch authority, no doubt about it.

If you want authority then go for wikipedia.org links...
