You have to know what you want. Why are you starting the project? Just to test if it works or not or because it's something you generally want to do for the long term? If it's a long term thing you will naturally find a way to make it work.
I would take a look at the biggest distractions that you face in a day. That could be people, your own working/living space (is it tidy?), social media (including Youtube), music/TV, or even general browsing and using this very forum. The fact you have made this thread could be dangerous as this forum is a good place to find answers to important questions and if you find your answer maybe you'll browse more often than you should in hope you'll find something else?
If that didn't make sense just remember this: You already know what your main distractions are more than anybody else could diagnose. You can watch all the motivational videos, read all the time-saving books as this will give you knowledge, but implementing a solution/cure can only be done once you have decided what you want to do one you have actually overcome this obstacle.
Focus less on instant gratification and quick goals and focus more on developing into a better worker, better human being and you will notice change. Work on your tidiness - physical and digital (clear all unnecessary bookmarks and desktop icons and old files that have little relevance), try and gradually reduce the amount of time you spend in front of a screen (it can mentally tire you, and there are many distractions) and you should be ok.
