Hey guys,
In the last couple of months I have noticed plenty of disputes between buyers and sellers where most of the conversations happened on Telegram.
Even though it is stated to keep discussions on BHW, most of the scammers tend to take users on Telegram because of the ability to delete and wipe out entire chat history without a trace, where on the other hand, Skype or Viber do not allow that.
People that didn't take screenshots while discussing won't have any proofs to stand against the scammers (or vice versa). One can always photoshop a screenshot once the discussion is deleted and the other side won't be able to do anything about it.
My suggestion here would be to exclude Telegram as a source of evidence within the Disputes resolution center and to have it stated (Marketplace and HAF rules) that Telegram conversations won't be considered valid.
Thanks.
