I've just set up a few websites in French niches, since all the money went on hosting, autoresponders and domain names, there is no amount enough to buy content, i'm good in French but i can't write articles and optimize them by myself.
So i'm asking, is translated content good for SEO?
Getting english content from the same niche and translate it to French ...
Have you ever been in this positing or used this method to get content?

If you are doing the translations yourself I think that's fine.

But don't translate with Google Translator from english to french. It's better to do something like this: English -> Spanish -> French.

I wanted to know the answer to this question too. It basically goes down to 2 things.

1. Use a free translator.

2. Pay for the translations.

If you want high quality content, I'd save up money to reinvest for the paid translations. Otherwise, using a free translator won't be that great.

Well if you are french, translate from english to french in google translate, and then fix grammar mistakes and edit stuff a bit and you are fine. :)
