Discuss: Why seems 301 does not affect? & Why to use 301?

• Is 302 better than 301 under this situation?
• Technically, 301 redirect shall impact the search result, isn't it? What conditions will make 301 has no impact to SERP or to say, how to implement 301 redirect without impact to SERP?

I've no idea what that website is about, or what they're trying to do, so I can't answer this question. Only the owners of gauthmath.com can answer it


technically and realistically it shall, and it WILL impact the SERPs. But it might take time as it depends on how fast google update their database with the new redirects... Also, if they're 302 instead of 301 google might never update the search results since 302 - like I said - are temporary redirects and google will see this they'll know NOT to update the cache since the redirects are temporary and not permanent...

So, it's either a matter of time (if the redirects are 301), or the SERPs will never get updated if the redirects are 302


hmm... I guess you can append the new URLs with "noindex" tag (either via robots.txt, or htaccess, or plugins), and at the same time you can request google to remove the old URLs from their database, but I don't know how you can do this. I know that it's possible, I just don't know how to do it

It seems like they're blocking certain IPs/GEOs rather than a global 301,

Nothing wrong with the website,
It's a common practice for many websites/businesses when they don't show interest in customers from certain locations,
Or/and you're using an IP that's being blocked using their firewall systems, which usually happens with datacenter proxies/IPs, VPNs, etc...
