Hey guys, I would like some help.

    So far I have:
    Found my niche
    Set up my blog
    Ping blog with feedshark
    Applied to adsense
    Posted Amazon links

    Made 8 Web 2.0
    Ping 2.0s with feed shark
    Done keyword research (I think)
Purchased scrape box and learning how to use it now

and I have a couple of questions.

For my Keywords, I have about 400 of them. Is that good or bad? Do i just use them in my post or is there something else to do?
How many backlinks should I make and how many proxies will it take with scrapebox?
I pull articles from authority sites, is there a way to make this automatic (spin article, find image, copy tags)?
Finally, are there any suggestions that you will think help. My goal is to have an authority blog in my niche and it is kinda competitive. A PBN is something I might think about in the future, but right now I need to learn the ropes.

Thanks BHW hope this isn't too noob of a question.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Answer that and you'll have the answer to your questions.

What i mean is, without knowing your niche and keywords, no one can make an educated guess as to what you'll need to do.
Don't share your niche OR keywords here or with any newbie offering to chat with you on skype! Hell, don't share your niche OR keywords.

Just spinning and copying other websites will give you an uphill battle for rankings in the SERPs, especially if you are trying to become an authority site. Unless you're thinking an authority site is just a site with a mountain of posts, because that is just a big site. It becomes an authority site when people view it as such, cite it as such, and utilize it as a resource.

I am working to build authority sites, and it isn't just about tons of content.

My advice, play with this site, blast it with different links(learn what works), try different content building plans(spin, content curation, write original, outsource, etc...). Play around with social media. Play with ads(both for traffic and monetization). You will learn a lot on how to build a ranking site, and best of all, a long term site.

My authority site projects are planned for the next 3yrs, I revisit my plan quarterly. I have content dripping in over the next year(1-5 articles daily), and I am working on a solid social profile base.

    Research, test, fail, try again.

Patriotnews drove a very great point home when it comes to patience, quarterly check-ups, tracking measurements and accountability. Also, I strongly agree with him on creating original content alongside your other efforts with the perspective of testing, failing, trying again... seeing what works and focusing on the "ten thousand square foot view" all the while going about this.

...These keywords you mention about I believe are essential in regards to the articles, but it needs to be strategic. How I mean and making sure there are congruencies in the actual posts when it comes to being relevant in the context, but there is such a thing as over doing it when it comes to having too many of the same keywords...

...Also, I also agree about it being an uphill battle with spin text with the intention of copying other folks websites and having the agenda of ranking in the search engines...

...It can work for social media activities, I feel it's totally fine in that fashion...how I mean is, when it comes to sharing and driving folks back to your blog from social media using either your own consistent daily efforts using groups, messenger, facebook pages etc... or having some type of software managing several accounts for you emulate these social media activities driving traffic back to your site- In that sense...using other peoples content especially when you actually source their original article with a small text at the end of the post with the link attached etc...

...But imagine using original content and just taking the time to concentrate all the way through and creating 5 posts a day with quality relevant helpful and useful content building a following in relevant congregations on the internet, such a s forums, related websites and particular areas on pinterest, twitter, Instagram and Facebook...

Over the course of as little as 45 days, you will start to get the results that you are looking for.

By the way, The keywords, should also be strategically placed in the images as well as the youtube video description of the actual video then rank that video in youtube for their search engines and googles... and that's done through their on page optimization etc...

..but embed that video on your posts... for more Authority and Retention, even going so far as placing the keyword behind the images on the image on your actual desktop... going to properties, clicking on details and filling up those boxes with the keywords.

...Social Signals are very important, so using sites like Quora, Medium, Reddit as places to go when referencing your site is very essential towards that long term strategy that you have there.

..Anyways, I hope this helps anyways! Take Care.

    Thanks guys!

As far a spinning and copying I try to be as current as possible (for example: http://www.bbc.com/news/av/science-environment-40573621/first-object-teleported-to-earth-s-orbit ) pretty recent news. The page content is also like my site where I have few words and a video however I will spin content from a site with a higher word count.

Question: What is the absolute least amount of words would you recommend per post. Yoast says 300... should it be more or less. (I know the more the better)

and a double thanks to you Jon for mentioning changing properties and adding keywords to pics
