Difficulties as an SEO Beginner

What books can you recommend for me to understand it fully? Or whose YT channels will I subscribe to? I don't understand why are these not being taught in school during my days.

The good thing with seo is that you can learn it from the internet.
The difficulties (for me) included/includes the dynamic change of seo. You have to stay up-to-date, which means a lot of time (browsing and reading on the internet). The other thing is that you will need patience to rank a site. Normally it's time to get visible results.
 
Simple, it is hard to understand which strategies will work good and give results, to be honest even person who got experience in SEO struggle to understand the strategies which will work good!

There are those in the SEO game who continually test and re test, then there are those who just resell services.
 
As a beginner self proclaimed SEO Gurus & their special tips were the biggest problem. I mean most of time someone of them contradicted the other. Before joining this forum my understanding was SEO is all about reciprocal links & directory submissions.

Depends, could be crappy PBN but luckily you can always request for the domain and analyze it yourself before making payments
 
SEO is a struggle :weep::weep::weep: - having a really hard time understanding all of these things. I feel like losing my sanity. I am about to go end of the brink and fall.I could not even surpass failing SEO basics - damn!

then I got also depression. It feels like I am drowning. It is worth talking to a counselor? Have anyone of you experience such?

Overrating the importance of backlinks and underrating the importance of content . Once I understood that my time was better spent writing articles than building backlinks I started seeing results

It's ok to feel like that, especially during times as overwhelming as they are these days. Yes, definitely talk to someone. It helps a lot. Not sure where you live, but you should be able to google "crisis line" to find a phone number to call. If not, PM me where you live, and I can try to find the appropriate phone number.

  5. lack of technical skill, (like you need to change the site code to optimize seo, and for me it happen a few time, its very costly if you need to pay programmer every time you change things)
  6. and here is the biggest problem when you face a wall, and got stuck. Don't know what to do to fix it, no capital to pay consultant(even you have capital, no solution is given), testing a - z with no result.
