Hi guys,

I want to refer your experience about the different between using these types of PBN:

- self-host with domain
- web 2.0 with domain

Is there any big difference?

Depends on how many class IPs you have. Both will generally yield the same results (should they be the same size with same amount of content), so do what's easier for you

I would say there is a huge difference here :)

Basically, the idea behind setting up a private blogging network (PBN) is to gain more backlinks from different referral domains,
And accordingly boost the ranking of your money site.

This will just happen when you get backlinks from high authority domain names with higher page rank (formerly).

What's great about the WEB 2.0 sites is that they're already of higher authority since they come as sub domain of top domains like tumblr.com.
Alternatively, If you're going with Self-Hosted and a Domain name, then make sure to buy expired domain names with high DA and PA.

As for your reference,
You can find high authority expired domain names using:
https://www.expireddomains.net/

Let me know if you require further assistance
Happy to help
