Did we ruin the Internet?

I can agree with almost every word in your comment. However, I would like to add my 5 cents to these sentences I quoted.
1) It has become more obvious definitely because it has just become worse - the % of shiteload on the Net has increased exponentially, and, as any other ecosystem dies when it is overpolluted, so does also Internet.
2) Google MIGHT be tempted "to bring an order in their house". However, if they do, society will probably lose one of its most valuated features - freedom on the Internet. Do I want to meet a massive mechanism of censorship, initiated by the privately owned mega-corporation? I am far from being sure I do.
I like your version of this and I think it more accurately represents the current state of the situation. Thank you for sharing that with me!

Google is not useful, supposedly because of the advent of artificial intelligence?

I think artificial intelligence has not done much good for Google.
