Dhl items seized..attorney letter

Give us more details, why would they seize your items? Are they fake ? maybe they want to bust the seller not you
Yes they are not real. The law firm sent me a letter and asked me to respond in the next 6 days asking me to stop importing, send whatever inventory I have, give sources, and agree not to use the products in future. Should I respond to them? I've read here people saying that you shouldn't respond to letters...I never got letter from dhl about seizure, direct from attorney.
This was my first time ordering this brand. I have never sold a single product of them before, nor do I have any inventory on hand.

Best way is to call them , fuck the letter , call them and just say you didint know they are fake and ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ! this should get you out of trouble and they will point to the actual seller , just say ebay username to them and they should allow you to receive items and then go underground and never buy fake stuff ! And don`t resell them either , use them for yourself !

Responding and telling them your source etc is not something I would do.
I'd ignore them or it could appear that you are admitting guilt. Really you want to talk to a local attorney to make sure you are not going to get in hot water here.
I had a package seized by customs and got a letter from them telling me that they had seized 46 cuban cigars that were being sent to my address and if I wanted them to head on down to Miami.
I ignored that letter and never heard another thing.
No lawyer letter though. Talk to a local lawyer to be safe.
BTW, the guy sending those cigars sent 50. I wonder what happened to the other 4?

Did you order those items as a company or physical person?
If you ordered as a person, you should not worry too much. Do you know how many fakes are caught every day?
To cause a harm the company has to prove that you knew they were fakes before you ordered them. Kinda impossible task.
Items will be probably destroyed and you can open PP dispute.

If someone asks why you imported XYZ, say you have no idea what they are talking about.
Do not admit to anything. Do not say anything.
I don't think they will go to court with this. But if they do, lawyer up and he will tell you what to say.
Otherwise, don't say shit and it will slide.

I have a feeling theres more to the story.
If you are saying that you bought a few items off ebay as a private buyer and not as a commercial or long term importer then I would be all over eBay to get this sorted.
In fairness to eBay, they dont want ambulance chasing lawyers hassling their clients or else their business is in trouble. Contact support. open a case, get on the phone pass everything you have on to them. Make sure they take action and send you confirmation that the problem is being investigated and closed.
