Got a new link from GQ which is usually very exciting.
What I like about GQ is that they tend to translate and syndicate the copies across all their different regional websites, so a link from GQ.com could eventually lead to links from GQmagazine.co.uk, GQ Japan, GQ Italy, GQ Spain, GQ France and so forth etc.
If you take a look at the image below, the sections highlighted in blue are the names of the author which have been replicated across their different sites. So that authors article gets bylined across different distinct publications. However this only works for general content that is suitable for all countries. If the article is focused on something regional or country specific, it won't get syndicated.

Got a few more links for the beauty niche client. This was for an old query that we had answered. The journalist at that time mentioned that it might take time, and it's finally live. The links are not on the main domain, but still glad we got them. The anchor text is the brand name, links are no follow, and its pointed towards the naked url going to the team page. The links get 301ed to the www version of the url.

Couple more links trickling in for the beauty niche client
Some were from same domain shown in the update dated 15th March 2025. Some were from previous wins which were already shown earlier, one of which was shown on Feb 23 2025. I know that having multiple links from the same domain doesn't really push the needle, but I've noticed that many sites tend to deprecate older content over time, so having extra as backup is always good.

Got another link for my pet niche client. This was a do follow link. Anchor text was the name of the client, not the brand name of the website. The link went to the about us page of their site.
Here I got a link for my client in the food niche. Do follow link as well, anchor text was the name of the client, which is also the brand name/url of the site. This link went to the home page.

It's been a few days since my last update, but since there weren't as many callouts, I started running through some of my old wins and noticed that some articles get syndicated. However, these sites never added links, so I started doing a quick outreach to those sites in the hopes that I'd get a link. So pretty much link reclamation 101.
Did get one new win and one link reclamation win.
Below is my beauty niche client. The top link was a ******** to the homepage, but the anchor text was the name of the person under whom we did the pitching.
The bottom link was for an article that we got quoted on in November of last year, but never got a link till now. Anchor text was the url of the site and the link pointed to the home page as well.

When I submitted this post on the 6th of March 2025, I said that we could expect the new article(s) to be translated and syndicated across other regional GQ websites.
Today, my client ended up getting a link from GQ Korea. The ******** link is to the home page, and has the brand name as the anchor text. I think we can start getting some more links in the coming days as well

For the cybersecurity client. ******** link to the home page, anchor text was the brand name
For the beauty niche client, got another ******** link from the same site as before (now at 23 and got the tag of best link in ahrefs). ******** link to the team member's page, anchor text is the team member's name.
Oddly enough though, we're getting a bunch of natural organic links (if you can call it that) from 100% ai generated content sites in the same niche space. I guess this is a reflection of AIO? Shown one below.

I've seen that these sites do well for a short period of time, but then don't have the backlinks to back it up, nor social traffic, so then it falls flat after a bit.

No new links but for some reason an old link was found again on an old article. I think they're doing a few changes and adding it to a column that people would have to click to see details about the experts quoted in these articles.
