I'm almost done with a Soundcloud bot.

What it will do is:
- Auto share songs to groups (creating "group sets" will be in a future release)
- Auto follow based on tag
- Auto unfollow those not following back
- Auto Private Message with special "tags" for song name and user's name
- Program will auto update with new changes

It will do everything in a "scheduler" with "projects" and "pauses" (similar to twidium or voodoopinner)

Here are my questions to the community.. and maybe it isn't in my best interest to ask but here goes...

1) How much would you be willing to pay for this bot?
2) Would you be willing to pay a monthly charge (since updates will be provided)?
3) Would you prefer a trial version with restrictions, or a timed trial?

Cheers, I will post screenshots as I progress. When it's done and if I have enough rep I'll purchase ads on BHW to promote it.

It may be done by end of next week.

What if it was like 20$ a month? Or would you rather pay 99 one time?

I'd be happy to pay $15 a month for this. Any more would probably put me off.

Low priced and monthly is a winner in my eyes.

I am also in favor of selling service only. I have a bot & I am not that much up to sell it. I prefer to sell service most..:)

Why not just sell the bot and make more money? Your client list is only limited to the amount of equipment and manpower that you have. Selling the software actually makes more sense because of the minimal overhead.

if it has unilited amount of increase plays, downloads and views with pullining followers ill pay $200 or i will pay possibly about $30 or so a month with first a test trail.

Wanted to give an update to everyone...

Here's some screenshots of what I've got so far... (Couldn't figure a way to edit the initial post)

Please give the price feedback coming.

The UI is obviously nothing to be desired for at the moment, but it DOES work and gets the job done. You basically type in commands and my engine parses the commands line by line.

Well if you work out what the bot can do limits wise you can work out what value people would get out of using the bot and you would be able to charge accordingly and make some proof for your sales thread.

Well, that is generally goid advice; however, determining value for someone with this is not easy to do. Plus people don't always buy based on the same factors. I'm simply asking here because I think I'll be able to price fairly.

And in terms of limits, the bot is extremely versitile. You can make your commands as specific as possible (see the screenshots)
When I release there might be some specfic thing that isn't supported but I plan on making the bot auto update. So as SC changes and there is new updates the bot will update.

I am almost finished with the bot (did major advancements since last screenshot) and once I can figure out how to make a decent logo (I suck at drawing), I'll get it up here on BHW's buy and sell thread (assuming I get enough rep)

Air (Actionscript 3). Why are you asking?

Are you planning on implementing parallel threads? I'm not sure if this is doable in Actionscript 3. On the pro side though, it's going to be cross platform :)

Threads in the context of the program is strictly nomenclature. It's threads in that you can run them in different tasks simultaneously; however in the technical sense it is not multithreaded.

Nevertheless, the amount of computing power the program uses to run these tasks is typically minimal. I've safely ran multiple tasks simultaneously without any noticible slowdown on my average laptop.

Would this bot be able to fake views towards the soundcloud file?

Yes. It technically visits the track file. You can also have it hit play on the song if you wish.

I made a SoundCloud bot a while back, was pretty nice but I just was losing interest in the scene so I left to Instagram and others ;) I would charge a decent amount for this because your competition is so damn low and there are a lot of kids desperate out there to get famous on SoundCloud.
