Hey BHW I need a developer who is proficient in php, html5, js, css.

We are building an Agency tool that we need to get out to the market ASAP!

I want someone who can focus a good chunk of time into this project.

This project will bring in very large numbers. So the rev share wont be a 50/50 split. You will get anywhere from 5%-10% depending on how much time you can put into the development.

We communicate with the team via slack. So you'd need to have access to that as well.

Why do you assume things lol? How do you know I am still apart of the project that has the investor? How would you know if I left, how would you know if I paid the investor and took full control? Lol why do BHW world members live to burn people? It's so sad.

This project has nothing to do with any previous projects. No investors involved. Just my team and a couple of JVs.

It is nothing to do with hate I am simply doing my due diligence. If everything is ok why are you so defensive?

It is a perfectly reasonable question to ask if you are still involved in that. You are asking me to invest time and money, I want to know if you are distracted by something else or had a falling out with your business partner.

I don't want to assume anything I want you to explain what has happened with that project?

I'm not being defensive what so ever....

As I just mentioned this is a separate project. No investors involved. I sold the remainder of my stake in the other business and left the company. The investors and board were not seeing the vision me and the founding partners had. So I sold the remainder of my stake and left.

Now I am onto something new that has nothing to do with my previous project.

Glad you dont want to be defensive, i have some more questions...

For a saas business to work you need some serious marketing $.

Are you going to be using the money you got from that sale/somewhere else to fund the marketing or are you going to get another investor onboard?

I'm going to be using my own money no investors.

OP assuming that you can bring the project to market and it has an average performance, not bad not good. What does that 5 to 10% equate to in dollar value?
How much time do you think it would take till the project is released for the end-user?
At what point from the launch date of the project will you see a profit to share the revenue?

Marketing budget is $15-20k/month for paid ads
Our in house SEO team will handle the SEO.

That's $100-$300/month Per client.

Let’s go mid tier as average. $200

Clients use the web app with a conversion rate of 3% would be 750 units sold.

$250 per sold unit that's $187k from sold units in the first month.

750 unites let's say 10% pick up an the upgrade. That's 75 people. At $299/month that's an extra $22k/month

That's $44k recurring in month 1

Plus $187k in one time sales.

That's around $220k in the first month.

Not including $25/month for hosting which is another $18,750/month.

So total first month or two $240,000.00

Without giving too much of the idea away.
 
You should have said in your initial post you were prepared to drop $20k per month on marketing and handle seo. That's quite a big plus!

For how many months can you sustain that before the project needs to reach profitability?
