I think this will only clutter the categories on the forum. Not having dedicated category, doesn't mean we cannot have serious discussion about reddit. The only difference is you can check all reddit related threads, without using the search function

So for example, this wouldn't be good for a thread: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/reddit-down.1278081/

Whereas these would: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/trick-get-your-d0follow-reddit-backlink.1267916/ and https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guide-download-start-your-reddit-tts-channel-now.1262377/

The 250 character isn't a hard limit, but a guide as usually when the characters are above this number, the thread is quality. We just won't take every thread that mentions Reddit in it just to fill the gaps. There's no point creating a subtopic for it to be empty or inactive, so the point is, this should be easy to prove to us.

Happy to answer any questions.

Many threads are posted daily regarding Reddit and not having a Reddit subforum compels the members to post such threads in the lounge.
I guess that's not a big issue but I just wonder why such a huge platform hasn't got it's own subforum yet. I see even Weibo, TikTok & MySpace has got it's subforum but why not Reddit when we have so many threads daily regarding reddit.

Please a Reddit SubForum is so much required here.
thanks bro,just posted one thread

It's not a good idea to clog the forum with sub-forums.

Instead let the sub-forums that exist get some more engagement, especially for those who are asking questions and need some information.

Case in point - I posted a thread in the Pinterest section and just bumped it for the second time today. Crickets. Not the first time.

It's either that you need to be a paid VIP on Blackhatworld or the few who know the answers choose to keep quiet.

I am afraid it will be the same with the Reddit sub-forum if it does come into existence.

The quality of a forum or website is defined by the quality of content and not how wide it has spread itself out.

Also, there should be folks assigned to each existing sub-forum to make sure that threads with questions don't go unanswered. BHW is big enough now to afford some good part-timers who can do this.

Not sure how the staff could carry out that idea.

Can you make a suggestion or two as to how that would work?

Reddit is a large forum, with a lot of buying and selling needs
I also want it to be displayed on BHW

Thanks for taking note of my suggestion.

Every subject has experts in it, though it may not be apparent at first. Pertaining to the example given, there are VAs who specialize in social media including Pinterest marketing. How about one of them being hired for a couple of hours every day to answer questions that pertain to social media.

Right now anyone with some knowledge is busy on Upwork and Facebook groups, working for clients, and earning well. They may find no reason to come to BHW - time is money for them.

In fact, a vast majority of those who visit BHW are those who have questions and very few have the answers, especially the right answers.

You may need to hire people who have subject knowledge in order to have good content. Good content will also attract more traffic, especially those who will be willing to try out paid services offered in the marketplace.

It's not enough to open new sub-forums as is being discussed in this thread. Someone needs to have the answers too.

Sometimes you have to break the rules and add Reddit... it's REDDIT....lmao, no need any rules (just my view)

BHW sub-forums are messy, especially navigation system, newbies are dead in flames

If BHW staff wants more engagement then topics like How to, Questions, and maybe few more topic should be added
(like general social chat, that is more a topic than a sub-forum, but call it however)

and another feature

You can enter any sub-forum and while posting the thread, you should be gifted with an option to select desired sub-forum from there too, so you have increased chances to submit thread to the right forum + to attach a topic also

So, if BHW add 5 topics like How to, then someone could post something to the right sub-forum + use the topic tag, so that post would appear to targeted forum and topic how to for users who seek things 'how to' no matter if it's Reddit, YouTube Google etc

Topic tag should be optional thing (will of OP) and if placed wrong, mod would place it to the right topic (if there is any relevant)
