I think he feels bad enough and enough people have read this thread. You guys should read the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene it talks about situations like this and you should never ex-communicate someone however make them publicly apologize for there actions and hold them accountable. In doing so you made that person ten times more loyal and he will be the last person in BHW to do something stupid.....

I think a permanent ban would serve no useful purpose as, even though he says he expects to be banned, it would ultimately leave him with a very bad impression of all of us. He has already been severely chastised and some people here will never let him forget.
Even criminals get a second chance, for things a lot more egregious. I believe the public humiliation he has already endured, coupled with the fact that he now knows how vulnerable he really is on the innerwebs, will serve to eventually make him a valuable member here. It might even teach him a few things about becoming a good BH who knows how to cover his tracks and stay under the radar.
As far as the trust issues go, I can't imagine he won't think twice the next time he tries to get over on someone he doesn't know. Hopefully, at least here, he'll behave in a respectful and trustworthy manner.

He obviously didn't know who he was messing with. Coming here as a newbie with a dozen posts and already tried to scam the big guys here (along with the rest of the community). What does this say about him?

In my opinion he should be given a second chance but humiliated more than he is currently so he can be an example to everyone else in the community. Kind of sad though biting off the hand that feeds you...
