Hi everyone.

For the last 7 years I was able to support myself by uploading videos on Dailymotion platform as their partner and knowing how it works I was able to make some money that pays the bills. In recent times (past 6 months) for some unknown reason they stopped paying their partners and the revenue seems to be on hold so far.

Since december I decided to not continue with them and look out for other methods of monetizing the videos I upload (copyrighted content, not my own). Hence I made a blogger page where I use Adstera and Netu.ac to monetize the videos. I have some traffic but it's nothing compared to Dailymotion and the money I gain from blogger and netu are insignificant.

I was wondering is there any good alternatives to monetize copyrighted videos on other platform as well? I found Rumble but I'm not yet sure if they will allow copyrighted videos to be monetized. Anyone experienced in that niche of making money and not minding sharing their experience or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You can look at other ways of making money since what you did before has a form of copyright infringement.

Of course, that's why I'm in this forum to look for other ways and/or alternatives to what I already can do. Thank you

So are they paying no one or just people who posted copyrighted content?

It seems the majority of partners. I guess It's not due the copyright itself, since they usually delete the videos or the account. They haven't explained fully. All I know by their support that there's increase volume of partners and takes some time ( already passed 6 months) to verify everyone's payments or whatever.. To me sounds like vague excuse of just not paying or maybe they're having internal issues with their advertisers. No one wants to pay you even when you've worked for it. That's the truth.

6 months is a stretch when they claim they're facing high volume. It doesn't take that long, unless they only have 2 employees. Sounds like a rug pull to me or they're just scamming some partners.

No doubt they're trying to scam their own partners, that's beyond obvious but if they didn't want to pay they will just delete those account and be done with it as they usually do. The interesting part is that they haven't paid partners and allow them to keep posting any CR videos.. after all they earn their money mainly by those.. Breaching their own Terms and conditions..

yeah forget that money
trying to, in the meantime looking for alternative.. that's the idea :)

Have you already tried Vimeo? I don't know if they have a monetization system, but it's similar to Dailymotion

Vimeo is nothing like Dailymotion, though both are video hosting platforms but with very different strategies. Vimeo is also not free and the monitization is subscription based vs Dailymotion is AVOD, videos with ads. I'm looking for another AVOD alternative. Besides Vimeo will never let you use Copyrighted Content. Thank you

Yes, as I mentioned in the beginning of my post "I found Rumble but I'm not yet sure if they will allow copyrighted videos to be monetized."

Check out Rumble you can start making money from your very first uploaded video. Don’t worry about monetization requirements.

Are you sure? Even if the video is copyrighted? Mine is still under "Ready to share. Monetization pending" status...
