Blogging is all about expressing yourself or sharing information and knowledge with others. Now, that's what I really love about blogging. Only part of the incentives of blogging is the opportunity to earn. The really more impressive part is when people learn from your blog so that they share it with others.

If you have targetted traffic for a special niche, you can start out building an e-mail list with some returning CPA offers to monetize it. There big advantage towards advertising placements in that case is you get a pretty much interested group of people only to sign up => increasing Conversion Rates.
Another possibility to monetize is selling text links through some platforms. Depending on PR / Alexa / Domain authority this can prove profitable as well.

I know I am not known around this forum as of yet, but I would like to add to this discussion. While planning is surely important, I suggest that organization is equally important if running multiple blogs.
I run multiple blogs (mostly in adult) and have found myself disorganized with what needs updating and when.
