DA Update : Was there an Update today?

It seems there was a DA metrics update ,and has hit my sites , 2 sites got DA reduced from
28 to 24 and 21 to 18

and ironically I have built some good links for both recently, i hope it doesnt have a effect on the traffic

The DA for a few of my sites and a few of my client sites went up a bit, but I don't care much since it's not like DA is a factor in Google's algorithm anyway (although I find it useful for estimating the competition level in the SERPs).
 
I thought you were only supposed to worry about updates originating from Google?

Indeed, I tend to use it to measure what my site stands in terms of Authority when compared to some other crappy site
 
Mine went up 14...
Looks like I'm doing something right. :rofl:
 
When did DA started going up and down via "Updates"?

Links built=DA goes up
Link loss=DA goes down

DA is the easiest metric to manipulate, doesn't have anything to do with "Updates".
 
Sorry! i am a newbie, and have some ideas. I thinks PA, DA goes up when link built is more and more.
So i don't know how good when you build in root domain and post.
I think if use GSA to build link for root to save time for other thing than build link for posts.
Please!
 
Epic... missed those days when everybody was anticipating PR update an lots of threads after every PR update... now, the fun is back with DA.

And DA doesn't even play any part in ranking your website.
 
Updates make an impact. Some of my sites got up, some down. Guess not a big one this time )
 
went up for a spammed site and down for a site that has some really good links, definitely a bad update.

The update is confirmed, but strange thing is upon DA/PA increase how the moz rank is calculated i don't know, my PA decreased, DA increased and Backlinks dropped ( Linking Domains - I bought from a a famous seo guy here, and its a proof now, that no Permanent blog posts from even trusted seller's )
 
All the sites ive checked so far stayed the same :/ Update must be delayed in my country or nothing affected my sites.
 
Yes it`s a DA/PA update last day, recently i have buy some expired domains with good DA/PA and today morning i have seen it`s was down.
 
yes i have seen DA increase on couple of my authority website but ranking are the same.
