I found an expired domain on expired domains.net

I picked interest in it so I checked it on ahref, semrush and ubersuggest, this is what I found

Ahref

Semrush

Ubersuggest

On semrush I found out that the domain has dropped organic search since 2014.

Should I be worried?

so the question is is the domain good for SEO?

Since the domain is being dropped for long will it still have value as an expired domain or Google sees it as New domain?

The only metric that counts is which referring domains are still live and if they are good. If it is only 1 x wiki link, not terrible but probably not worth it. If other decent links, you can get these recognised by Google if you are smart.

And was it even online after 2014? Compare it with hosting history (Hosterstats) and Archive/Domain tools. Screenshot from Archive itself doesn't tell us much, as those can be parking pages. If the site has been offline, there's no reason for it to have any organic traffic in that period.

If this domain is available for $9 or $8 I wouldn't mind buying it for that cheap. It's DA is 22 and DR is 5. Rest of the metrics are less important for me coz it was offline since 2014. And I may not use it for my money site.

If the backlinks are from relevant authority domains, are also live & indexed then only it will add SEO value.

It's definitely worth making some money if you can setup a website & index it.

It's an aged domain so I am sure if it Indexes it can rank in certain low competitive niches too.

DA 22 is a nice metric to woo some cheap guest post hunters.

And once it ranks you will also have some traffic also to woo the hunters.
