Hey guys,
Before I jump into a free cPanel alternative let me ask this question: if you are using cron job in Cyberpanel to automate some task for your website successfully? Is the cyberpanel cron job buggy or working fine for you?

Totaly working fine bro

Even if cron works fine, I would suggest not using CyberPanel. You will face *a lot of* problems.

I recommend FastPanel for free usage.

But Fastpanel does not support litespeed. Cyberpanel supports openlitespeed which in fact is compatible with most plugins I use. Can you tell me the benefits of Fastpanel over Cyberspeed?

Well actually the thing is that Cyberpanel is buggy and non stable. I randomly faced many database crashes etc.

Hmm

But I have the following questions about Fastpanel:
  1. Does it have a File manager like DirectAdmin and cPanel do?
  2. Have you ever tried to set up a cron job in Fastpanel?
  3. Does it use Litespeed or what server exactly?
  4. Can you easily access Public_html and upload files in there (root directory)?
  5. Does it organize your WordPress content, themes, and plugin so that you could edit the codes?
I have a Linux Ubuntu server with the following specs but I don't want to add more hosting costs hence, I ditch cPanel and DirectAdmin altogether. Too much to bear financially here right now. Beside, I have a Windows VPS and my Linux VPS look like this right now:
  • CPU
    • 6 vCPU Cores
  • RAM
    • 16 GB RAM
  • STORAGE
    • 400 GB SSD
  • DATA TRANSFER
      • 32 TB Traffic
      • Unlimited Incoming

1- Yes (not same but it's good too)
2- Yes
3- It doesn't support Litespeed afaik. It supports Nginx or Apache.
4- Yes
5- I didn't understand
that.

The only bad thing I can mention is that Fastpanel requires license key. They give it for free and it says unlimited but we can't be sure about that.

Thanks for the info.

I mean in DirectAdmin, you can see your File manager, clickc click it. Go to wp-content, click and see your themes and plugins folder, edit the codes of each plugin, make changes to the code of htacc and function php etc. Does Fastpanel allow you to do these?

How long have you been using Fastpanel?

Yes, you can do that with FastPanel's file manager.

Almost 1 year.
