You are right, this morning I deleted all files and uninstalled everything and it is working fine now. I saw in another forum that you recommend windows for a lot of things and the scrapebox support has just told me the same thing as you and that they can change my license to me for windows so I could install scrapebox on a windows virtual machine
I don't work for scrapebox and can not help you. If support can change your license to windows then great, if thats what you want to do.
The thing is, mac is built 1 way on the "backend" and windows is built a different way. Ive heard it said that mac almost goes out of their way to do things totally opposite on the backend as the way windows does it. Perhaps from copyright standpoint or whatever.
The thing is, neither OS was really designed with tools like scrapebox in mind, but windows just works better with software like scrapebox and has less issues.
Plus you can put software like scrapebox on 1000 windows machines and it works the same way every time.
You put software like scrapebox on 1000 macs and some work one way while others do something else and others still perform in a 3rd different way etc.. So it makes it challenging because macs sometimes don't behave as expected or as other macs do, because of the way apple does stuff on the backend.
Anyway the short answer is, all things being equal, people have less challenges using scrapebox on windows. Its more stable and there is better error reporting on windows. So if there is an issue, its easier to resolve and there is less general issues, plus more features available as some features are not capable to work on mac.
Its not an attack on mac, Im just stating the facts. All OS out there were built by humans so none off them are perfect, windows and mac included.
Same problem.. Please help.
Worked for the person above, did you try it?
Try to uninstall and reinstall scrapebox, you might just have bad files, or it could be security software so you can add an exception for all of scrapebox in your security software
