Hello BHW,

Looking to get a real sense of the market right now. For those of you running agencies or outsourcing content regularly - how much are you currently paying (or willing to pay) for a well-optimized, full-length blog article in English?

I’m talking about:
  • An article created with help of AI (but used manually, not just straight prompts dumped into ChatGPT)
  • Good structure, flow, formatting, etc.
  • Includes images (custom or stock)
  • Final version is proofed and polished by a human editor
  • SEO-friendly and ready to publish

So basically: not junk, not cookie-cutter AI spam — but not 100% hand-written either. A smart mix of tools and human oversight that delivers solid content.
What’s the going rate you’re seeing or offering? Per article or per word — either way is fine.
Appreciate your thoughts!

(x) none of your answer...$50? lmao

$1-2 max
I wouldn't pay more than that

For $5-$10 I can buy a 100% human written article, of course, nothing amazing, but why would I buy an AI edited article with this money?

Because almost every copywriter these days uses AI.

I'd probably be on the low end of $1-5 to be honest. As other comments mentioned, people are likely using AI whether they say it's handwritten or not, and if you modify AI generated content by hand, it's probably still a lot faster than writing it all by yourself. I'm not sure how people generate images for AI content / AI blogs yet - I don't think the AI image generation has come far enough to make believable images.

As a note, I've never outsourced writing, but still want to put my 2 cents.

Good writer has good education/lots of experience on how to make the article read smooth and have the flow.

Ah.. to save your time: if you pay peanuts, then you get monkeys.

If the article is complicated and involves work with data, I easily can imagine big sums.

There're a lot of "if"s. If that's a 800 word article, about emotions/fashion such stuff, then I'd pay 5-10$.

good opinion

I probably won't pay more than 5 USD per article. Another option maybe you can use chatgpt and make your own.
