Current DDOS November 16/17

Hoping this gets fixed soon. I wanna use my normal IP again!

My area is blocked too, but everything works fine using Chrome + Zenmate.

i usually don't complain a lot, cause it is great forum and deserve to be wait, however my ip range ( since in fb u mentioned, u blocking ip ranges and not entire country ) i was one of the 10% who always got messed up. changes account password, blocked ip ranger, every time something happen to 10% i always get involved in it, and i waited patiently for it to be resolved. 2 weeks ago when first this ddos attack started i got my ip range blocked for 6 days, and it got back, and now i am on the 7th day on this 1. from November 16 to be exact. ok here is my 2 cents. why are u blocking ip ranges of members? do you really think people that been here for 10 months or so ( not talking about me ) do this things to the forum? is not more logically to block guests? if the attack coming from them, i mean send all guest to offline pages like sign up for free ( and let them access to best bhw forum thread like 5 or 6, just to show a little taste of bhw and encourage them to sign up? that may let u more signed up people. that until the problem get resolved of course. ok now i talk like im'er when i say i know it is not easy and guests makes most of them for the forum cause the ads are cpm. however the members here, make the forum more live and a life. ok i am off the subject. all i say that members that been here for 1 year or more than 9 months shouldn't get any ip range issue, cause only stupid ass gamble with his account and rep that he worked hard to gain. so now talking to me when i say i have been here for 3 months, i don't have that high rep and 90% of this community doesn't know me and it is ok if my ip range still blocked, i am new so it doesn't matter, i will wait. and i regret to inform u that i can not use proxy for more than 1 hour at a time ( i dont trust proxy networks anyway, + i do have to work ) i just missed the fact that bhw stays opens on my FF tab and when i need a break or looking for something, i may answer question here or there. or ask question or continue my journey. have a great day ^_^

Hi All re the questions I'm getting it's a true DDOS ie truly distributed so it's not coming just from one specific country, that why we block ranges of IP's rather than whole countries.

I'm going to put up a review of the service we've received from CloudFlare soon. But it wasn't great.

NS etc are currently being updated and we will be back up for all in the next few hours.

TO those who are complaining about the countries etc:

When you are DDoSed, you don't have a specific country to block. Most of the IPs are Zombies ( google it. If not zombies, then hired and discarded soon.). It is not as easy to protect as it seems. You might think that you would take action against someone, but whom? Don't blame BHW staffs. They are doing their best. Stay with them and let's hope it is over now

Great to be back to BHW without proxy from Central Europe I hope DDoSers keep their asses away from now...

kaylanewett suggested using BlackLotus, I have never tried them but maybe it could be an option. I was getting a 401 forbidden error today from the U.S

finally its working from Italy !! in the morning i get the 403 error but now seems to be OK!!

every other page goes 404 for me, i have to use control-f5 to get them to actually load up...

i did clean out temp files cookies and all that shit but still lots of pages that time out innitially and then after a few reloads work again.

This last page of this thread is a good example, loaded it for four times to get it to show.

^^ I have the same problem as the one mentioned above. I have to refresh to reload the page.
