Advertise on BHW
Googled "nginx" and figured that BHW was blocking me. Used a proxy to access the site and learned that I was blocked due to DDOS attack from a particular region. Sucks to be part of that 10% but I thank those working hard to fix the problem.
 
Belgium is blocked aswel... "403 Forbidden nginx" . Used hidemyass to access the forum again :/
 
How about whitelisting all members IPs once we login or atleast jr vips ips so we can access the site next time something like this happens and not only people from USA/UK?

You really call that teaming up? 'Faster' have paid for jr vip + martketplace thread and bhw sees a chance to bank some more out of it..
The same discount stands even if we dont use your referal link..
 
Thanks guys just to make it really clear as per my first post and subsequent ones. We are working on a full solution. We're currently up for most but if you're in an IP range that it hitting us with a heap of DDOS traffic then we're using a hammer to crack and egg and not allowing any of it through. This isn't a permanent solution and only in play whilst we implement a longer term solution.
 
no more issues of cloudflare bs on my side. But I hear in parts of india BHW is still down, giving 403 error. Thanks for the updates DD!
 
Thanks for the update DD, still not working here and I'm using my VPS to loging to the BHW, this is huge headache :(
 
isnt their a way to block this attacks ? my region is also blocked and thanks to US proxies
 
India is blocked from few days i am using proxy :(

That was what I thought as well, good to know this since I was planning to use their services but after this story I'm going to rethink this
 
Via the facebook page of BHW in read about this browser in the comments which allows you to acces BHW once again without the hassle of IP blockers. Works fine for me ! (LINUX/MAC/WINDOWS)

Just out of curiosity... Maybe it has been asked before, screened through most comments and didn't see it tho.

Is this DDOS coming from China?

I have a very hard time accessing the community from where I live right now (in China). Every time I visit I get a 403 access not allowed, but on VPN it is still accessible... whenever VPN works..
Will this access issue from China be fixed at some point too?
 
Found a temporary solution to load bhw, Using https:// instead of http:// and it is loading without proxy. For ex: https://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f25-blackhat-lounge/, Main thing here is to put https:// of the respected forum itself and load then only all url change to https:/ But it is really slow. Still waiting for the complete resolvement. Edit: some one posted a thread about this as well.

Bought a USA proxy from the supplier suggested by BHW on Facebook.

I guess if BHW recommends them, then we can trust them with submitting our password via the proxy.

Also no longer getting the Cloudflare nag screen here, things seem faster. Hope it's all sorted out soon.
