That's what I said in the first place - countries that know they can't cope with the strain this will produce on their healthcare system (as not just the most vulnerable but even those with moderate vulnerability will require treatment) are locking down as they won't to avoid civil unrest in a worst case scenario this may result in.
Countries that can cope with it are not.
It doesn't help that cross-species transmission of Clovid19 is VERY high either. All kinds of mammals are being effected and countries like china, Italy and spain are great consumers of non-veg produce.

Yes, unfortunately you are right. The technology over their is more advanced than in most western countries, but the behavior of many people is like from 19th century. Uneducated (mostly everyone who is over 40 years old), no common sense, no hygiene standards, weird moral values (especially with animals). What is always amazes me is how many people over there go to universities and make awesome degrees, but have literally no common sense. They would just stop their car on the middle of the highway, make a U-turn on the highway or drive backwards. I have seen it all. Thats why the internet gets flooded with weird videos from China, mostly on Liveleak and so on, where people are doing stupid mistakes and die. Basically its the perfect example for education =/= intelligence

I'm talking about the fact that clovid19 shows far high virulence in animals - all sorts of animals not just one or two as is usually the case; as virus vectors and sadly as victims themselves, than it does in humans and the vast majority of meat in the UK is imported. Most of the meat production in Italy and especially spain is not, meaning more live animals as a further risk!
You many want to ask someone you know about any affiliation between private and public health sector in UK via extensive policy making of big healthcare insurance companies and the the role private healthcare plays here in case there is ever any state of emergency
I don't think any other country in the world has such an arrangement. Most of Britain's wealth and capabilities is held in reserve, for when they are needed - London isn't the gold (reserve currency) capital of the world for nothing just to draw on an analogy.

I fully understand that I am wasting my time as you are from this special kind of people who pick only the facts that support their believes, but still. The world is bigger than you think. There is no "meat" nor "diary" lobbying in Europe, you know? There is no lobbying at all actually, because is illegal around here. Also a gun cure 100% of human`s diseases. Britains response will be much better even than this though, when it comes even from those most immediately at risk - they are not worried one bit because of the involvement of private healthcare in such matters.
