Have not been banned either, been using it for a year now on few sites.
If you are up to it, the "road block" tends to lower your ranks because Giggle thinks there are too many ads above fold and too little content - just heads up, on-page thing.
IMHO rotation is useless but the little text link ads that look like menu work great... again, you can do all that with a bit of editing any WP theme and playing with Photoshop/My Ads in adsense to get the coloring right.
